But we can’t compete with the Oil Slavers or United or Real or PSG in the game of buying established stars. The only way we can compete is to build a team ethos that is sustainable and renewable (via academy etc).
United are spunking 400 grand a week on Sanchez and they got a little return...
You’re just playing the Oil Slavers game there. It’s about the team not the individual.
I’m not sure I understand what you want them to do? Buy Alexis Sanchez? Pogba? Spend a billion pounds?
We aren’t an oil slave club. And shouldn’t want to be. Wage spending will rise with the new stadium...
Worst game I I’ve ever seen Kane play. No movement, no strength in the contest, no confidence or understanding with the front three. Worst possible time for him to dip in fitness and form for us. Gutted
I'm disappointed. The perfomance wasn't good enough and we should expect more. And I'm gutted we only got a point.
But I don't think our players are fuckwits, I don't think Kane is savign himself for the World Cup, I still believe we have a very good chance of beating United and even winning...
When did I say it makes me a “good supporter”?
Maybe you’re the better supporter. Maybe constant negativity without constructive criticism is what makes clubs great? I don’t know. This is just the way I’ve always supported and sporting teams I follow.
You seem very defensive about it.
Why do you care? You want to slag the whole club off and expect failure before it happens.
I want to support the club which has taken such great strides recently and I feel deserve my faith.
You go your way I go mine.
Good luck to you.
There is a difference between criticising and venting. It’s very simple and easy to spot.
Like the guy who accused Harry Kane of protecting himself for the World Cup.
Can you see this very clear and obvious difference?
