Hard to look past Scottie at the moment really with the form he's in. Would like to see Aberg put in a good showing and Wyndam Clark has been in good touch. Outside bet for me for is Nick Taylor. All that said, c'mon Rory!

Player Watch Player Watch: Dejan Kulusevski

Has he been told to stop shooting so often? I miss him cutting in on his left and curling the ball towards to the back posts where he'd either score or set up a tap in. I know that opponents will have got wise to it but if we get the FB/WB over lapping then at least it creates scoring...

He just needs to take a leaf out of my book and shorten his run up! Done no end of good for my consistency and has more or less eradicated my once an over beamer! If he takes heed then he's got anothr 2-300 test match wickets in him still!

Tbh i forgot about Brooks but agree on the seamers. I think Anderson could well retire from Tests after this series if he manages to pick up one more wicket to get to 700. I quite like Potts as he has that fighting spirit but not too sure about who else we have, Atkinson isn't good enough for me...

Not the best of series for us but i do feel we've unearthed a potential gem in Bashir. Hartley i'm less sure of as he just isn't consistent enough, bowling far too many freebies which release any pressure we might build up. I think the jury is still out on Ahmed too but at least he offers us...

Terrific knock from Root, the situation made him bat as he should normally do. I don't understand some of his innings recently, he scores quickly enough without resorting to the Bazball approach and non stop attempts at ramps and switch hits!

    The Summer 2024 scouting thread

If (when) Burnley get relegated i'd seriously take a look at Luca Koleosho as a back up/rotation LW option. Been really impressed whenever i've seen him get a run out. Fast, tricky dribbler that reminds me a little of Aaron Lennon in the way he runs a people

Yeah the fittings are really good and the guys there aren't pushy at all. They didn't even try to give me the hard sell and fitted me in the best they could for my budget. I tried a few other sets including the ZX4, Stealths and P790 but I loved the feel and look of the Gen 5s and I don't have a...

What are you looking at? I went for a fitting at PXG in December with the aim of getting specs and then finding something cheaper at somewhere like AG in the sales...2 weeks later i had a shiny new set of Gen5 irons (and a 4 Hybrid) under the Xmas tree at double the cost of what i'd planned to...
