Nah it shows you’ve done due diligence and you know exactly who you’re signing for. We all moan constantly about Levy both not signing players to push on when we’re on the cusp of success and also not allowing players to leave for reasonable prices to clear the decks. As an incoming ambitious...
This whole thing of wanting a release clause is over blown. His agent would be negligent not trying to get one . I’d be even more inclined to ask for one from spurs than brighton.Given how hard Levy makes it for players to ever leave i think it’s understandable. Its upto the club to make sure...
I’m less concerned about him not having major football experience due to his background at executive level of sporting clubs and olympics etc. what always concerns me about these types of appointments is when it’s a complete outsider to the club. These sorts of positions are responsible for...
I wouldn’t be upset Eriksen going to Utd . Tbh id feel a bit sad for him if that was his only option. He’s been here 6 years now which is a long time in any job let alone modern football. Maybe going to Utd isnt about money, it’s literally about trying something new, a new life experience while...
I’m more inclined to hope it’s actually to put more pressure on Madrid for Bale seeing as it’s Bale and Dybala play pretty much the same position. Wouldn’t have thought Betis have much need for pressure to be applied as they’ve already bought a replacement and can’t really afford to keep both.
People are jumping to the conclusion that the Dybala info was leaked to put pressure on Betis for Lo Celso but wouldn’t it make more sense that it’s actually to turn the screw on Madrid even more. Seeing as it’s that position he plays rather than Lo Celso’s ??
Letting him as in let Madrid loan him, why would you think that Bale isn’t totally behind his agents plan what ever it is ( he obviously has one) . By turning down all loan offers they turn the screw on Madrid even more than it already is.
If Barnett really isn’t going to consider letting him take a loan then I’d imagine our chances are better of nabbing him. He’s obviously holding out to get them to either lower the fee substantially or just get a pay off. Either way the more Madrid have to stump up, the less the new club do...
I'm just holding out hope that Real don't win anything else this season and decide to ditch Ancelotti, which would kinda be a shame as I like this Madrid team but hey.
Hahaha I'm sure he would be first choice, he would really be the ultimate manager to take us forward. Not a hope in hell though. I'd have thought our best chance of getting him would have been pre AVB before we sold all our worldies and started to look like a laughing stock. But hey it is Levy...
