Unfortunately totals mean nothing to any prospective 'marquee' signing if you're trying to convince them of your ambitions. All they need to look at is which world class players you already have on your books.
Assuming that the greater the player = the greater the price you only have to look...
It hasn't been confirmed:
* that anyone has definitely bought 60% of a 'leading' English club
* that any deal has actually gone through the City's/FA's legal processes
* that we are even the club in question
I just thought it was a little premature to be writing shopping lists! :shrug:
