Interesting team. As I said before it looks under-powered but it's a good balanced back-line.
Will be good to see how Shields gets on and with Ewels, Mercer and Tuilagi on the bench we've got a bit of power to come on.
But I still think S.Africa will win.
I think there are 4 or 5 positions we could do with strengthening in.
I think the injury to Vertonghen highlights how little depth we have at centre back, and that's even if Alderweireld does stay. I'm happy to have Foyth as a fourth choice, but we need some more cover there.
Left back looks...
Massively disagree to be honest.
McGregor and his cronies attack the bus and effectively get away with it getting 5 days of community service. Other than that, White is gagging to get him back in UFC as quickly as possible.
McGregor then sinks to spiteful lows in his comments in the build...
I don't think anyone is under any illusion at all that White is concerned about this.
He absolutely knew what he was doing in the build up, and it is incredibly hypocritical of him to now say how bad it is for the sport.
Yeah White and co have a lot to answer for. I've seen some people saying this is symptomatic of UFC in general, but it really isn't.
Unfortunately Conor is the face of UFC at the moment and White has to accept a lot of responsibility for allowing him to get to this stage.
Mouthing off the way he was and getting easily beaten was embarrassing.
Having your mouthy entourage made to look silly by pretty much one guy is embarrassing.
Even the sneak attack from the Khabib team was quite embarrassing for him as he threw the first punch.
And yes I'm glad he got...
Yup he should just ignore racism and attacks on his family.
The fact that anyone 'expected' it shows what a long term prick Conor has been.
Just a shame that so many people like him because he's a prick. Says a lot about his fans in the same way as those who like Mayweather...
I don't necessarily think what Khabib and his team did was 'fine'. But it was understandable.
McGregor threw the first slap at the trainers so boohoo if they slapped him back. Same for his pathetic entourage who couldn't seem to deal with one guy between them despite mouthing off all match...
One man got involved in some stupid post match shenanigans which were in many ways understandable due to the provocation and racism in the build up.
The other attacked a bus with no provocation and injured bystanders. Indulged in racism, abuse and childish name-calling. And then got his arse...
McGregor got what he deserved.
You can say whatever you want about the way it was delivered but if you deliberately attack people physically and verbally outside of the Octagon, don't then be surprised when they want to beat the crap out of you.
Beaten up in the match. Beaten up after it...
