    Joe Kinnear has died

    Sad news. I met Joe once in his days as assistant manager at Wimbledon. We were at Club Med in the Algarve. They were on a mid-season break, we were on a company thing. Really nice fella. Modest, unassuming, great company and stood his round - no side to him. He will be missed.

    Saw him in the Plymouth cup match and he oozed class. Pedigree doesn't always out with footballers as mindset is so important but this guy seems to have it all. His dad Andy was a great player and uncle Eddie was a class apart. His pedigree is impeccable but Leeds - hopefully not inextricably.

    Torn between being delighted with the goal and wondering what he was doing there. I guess we needed an aerial threat with Richarlison out and now we've got our heads around meandering full-backs, Ange has moved on to goal-hanging centre-backs.

    Could've watched the UK emission but chose to watch it in French on Canal+. Commentator was female and balanced. Perfect.

    Yes, there were players ahead of him in his position but it must have been even more off-putting to see that even if nobody is available in your position, you still don't get game time. Ask Dorrington, Philips and even Donley.

    Don't disagree about how he should have responded - however we don't know whether he was sick like his ream-mates. Calling players out is easy and not necessarily helpful.
