A millisecond to see it, react and nice his arm...
Not physically possible to send a message to the brain and move the arm that quickly
You could put him behind a player that close and ask him to react to flicks and try and handle and he wouldn't get near any.
About a foot from the man that flicks it on.
And that's handball?
The rules have to change it's either deliberate or not handball fuck this unnatural position bullshit.
Either that or make it so If it hits the hand it's handball irrespective.
Hope England haven't broken Kane.
I think sterling passed once to him whole tournament... (No wonder he snatched at it)
England have no idea how to use Kane, look at the goals he gets for us from all over the pitch, all he was ever likely to score for England was tap in's or headers.
I thought the idea was they would change the dates of the league seasons a year prior to and after the World cup to not coincide.
No way the European leagues would be able to run concurrently with the WC, their not on a central contract to England like cricketers.
The sad thing is that people are/will be talking about the Kane miss, even though the amount of positions that Sterling and Lingard got into that should have turned into glorious chances just ended up with them trying to dribble a bit more and fucking it up.
You know for us there though (where his donkey work is much less) he would've just dragged that onto his left side and driven it in the far corner or placed it into the near.
Running around it to get it onto his right foot smacks of someone trying to make sure rather than let his natural...
Forgotten what a chance from a pass in open play looks like they've been so rare (maybe even non existent?) to him this tournament.
The way we've set up will never get the best out of Kane, too much Donkey work, not involved in anything other than flick ons, even when he came deep he barely got...
Too reliant on long ball to Sterling and dribbling from him and Lingard. And those two guilty of being greedy over and over again.
We played very little football and the role that Harry was given was bizarre, your top striker rarely getting a touch near the final third (let alone the box)...
