    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Klopp joined Liverpool in november, 15/16, so he had didn't have a proper pre season with the team. They also had to combine the league with playing in Europe. They reached two finals. Arteta didn't have any experience as a, manager when he joined Arsenal. Sure, 50 points is not impressive...

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Is he for real? Good football at times? I think it was 14-1 in attempts in the first half. If he think it was good at times, he's delusional.

VdV is mainly a centre back, but he has also played as a left back in his previous clubs.

I would have played VdV. Left footed and a lot of pace. And play Dragusin as a centre back. Sure, Dragusin have not played much. But he would have Romero as a partner and VdV next to him as left back. VdV pace would also have been useful against Salah.

No worries. Man City will trash us. We can't defend and Man City have players like Haaland, De Bruyne, Foden and so on. They will probably score at least four goals.

This. Royal was awful, but at the same time, why did Ange put a right footed player who's not match fit vs one of the best wingers in the league? And without anyone giving him support. Johnson didn't help and neither did one of our three midfielders. Horrible from Ange.

Player Watch Player Watch: Yves Bissouma

Move him on. He has always been inconsistent. It was the same at Brighton. He had games where absolutely bossed the midfield and then a couple of games where he looked uninterested. Article from 2020. Story of his life...

Player Watch Player Watch: Yves Bissouma

Look, I don't think Hojbjerg is the answer but the stastistic shows that Hojbjerg is more progressive than Bissouma. I think we should get rid of both Hobjerg and Bissouma. Because Bissouma has not been much better apart from a short spell in the beginning of the season. Since then Bissouma has...

Player Watch Player Watch: Ben Davies

He should stay as CB cover. The goal was not only his fault. Look at several players jogging back. And VdV was staring at the ball instead of what was behind him. So Davies didn't get any cover. Saka would have done the same thing vs better left backs with the lack of cover from the team mates.

    Player Watch: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Get rid of both and sign a someone new in the summer. Biss showing a couple of games/season is not good enough, and PEH is not the best fit for the system.

Player Watch Player Watch: Guglielmo Vicario

I agree he is not that good in the air, but at the same time we allow the opponents to push him back. We have to put someone between Vic and the opponent (like White today). Screen them so Vic can work around them and go for the ball.

Defending in general is a problem. Ange is relying too much on VdV pace to fix a lot of the problems. And it doesn’t work. We must defend as a unit.

    Match Threads Spurs vs Arsenal

We concede goals on set pieces and naive defending in game after game. So even if we win xg, us losing has nothing to do with being unlucky. Its a sign that we (Ange and his team) do something wrong.

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

I have no patience when it comes to incompetence. Ange and his coaching staff shows a lot of it. We had two weeks to work on set pieces. And they give us this? He does nothing about the opponents backing into Vic. Put someone between Vic and White, so Vic can push his own player on White and...

    Match Threads Spurs vs Arsenal

The thing is, even with the xg we can't blame anyone but Ange and our coaching staff. If they knew how to organize defensive set pieces/a defence we would have won the game. But they can't. So we are not unlucky. Its a symptom of something else.
