8 overall for me.
8 for over-achieving in PL; single-most important thing. We have less points than last season but Man City's dominance is unprecedented. I think
+1 for good games vs the big teams in CL
-1 for playing worse fooball than last season; we scored less and our goal difference sank.
We need to strengthen the backline, CM and hope that Llorent will have a better season.
Continue stockpiling AMs; i think Lucas Moura was a great buy at 25m, and I think approaching Martial makes sense.
We need to be better tactically but that's alot easier said than done. I dont think we have...
Domestic cups are pointless from a money/recruitment/practical perspective. Players won't join because we won this year's cup.
Players will join because we've been top-4 for a couple of years.
From the club's view top 4 is really all that matters. Cup glory is for nostalgic fans.
We can't play when Dembele doesn't perform and he didn't this game. His performance dropped off the longer the game went.
Valencia had Son in his pocket all game.
Vorm could have saved the 2nd goal.
I dont get why Wanyama didn't play; should be an absolute starter in CM with Dembele. I...
We were not clinical enough, especially Son. But credit goes to him for finding that space and getting a shot off in the first place.
I don't feel let down by that performance. Juve's technique and tactical flexibility shone.
E.g Son was allowed to shoot from the left side when he's through...
Game of attrition. Great fitness and a strong will to win got us through in the end even when our quality let us down at times.
Commands respect...a Poch-type team performance. Not much more to say really.
Whichever one is happier playing second fiddle to Kane, as neither look like they can fill his boots.
Llorent's older so more likely to be happier.
I agree with BC that Son gets first dips anyway for the striker spot, assuming Lamela's fit.
