The players need to be forced to read this quote over and over again until they fully understand it.

If you don't have to drag yourself off the field exhausted after 90 minutes, you can't claim to have done your best.

absolute piss...to put into perspective. Hull beat the scum yesterday 2 - 1 on their own patch - their whole team cost about £15 million. we go to portsmouth who have conceded 10 goals in 2 games and don't look like we could break them down if we played till christmas. an absolute embarrasment and joke. defence, midfield and upfront - piss!

The thing i am so pissed off about is that we used to lose with a bit of class, I have never been so bored watching tottenham as much as i have this season.

Juande Clueless:

1- no Gilberto
2- no 4-1-4-1
3- sub out Zokorora instead of Jenas?...
4- Dawson at CD instead of Gunter at RD?...
5- Bentley, dos Santos, and Lennon together do not work. Only 2 of 3 on at a time please.
6- put 2 strikers on the pitch when you are losing a match...

Disgusted.......... :bang:

COYFS!!!!!!!

Guys this is a difficult away game against a team lacking confidence, JR is obviously keeping things tight and looking to nick a goal. After what happened against Villa where quite honestly we were bullied out of the game like schoolboys I think this is a sensible tactic. We have quality on the bench to turn the game a la Wednesday, I have high hopes as I prepare to walk to the pub.

Formation is:
Gomes

Corluka Woodgate Dawson BAE

Zokora O'Hara

Jenas

Bentley Gilberto

Pav

nick a goal!!! feck me, chelsea and city nicked 10 between this lot. and we go there with one up front. seriously. why not fecking attack them. but then again it's always spurs to give a shit team who have had a bad run an easy game. we are a pathetic club and a joke. we deserve to be were we are. i really don't even care anymore if we get relegated. we have lived far to long in crazy land of hoping to break into the top 4. we are not or never will be a top 4 side.

Written off top six already.
Top half to be a struggle.

Wish I was wrong.

Taking off our best midfielder?
Substituting our only striker who looks isolated just so another striker can be isolated?

For someone who was supposed to be some kind of tactical super-genius, he has the footballing nous of a door mouse.

In the league we've score 4 goals. An own goal, Bent capitalising on Lampard's mistake, an actual goal by Jenas, and a deflection off Bent's shin. Somehow I think the whole 'playing one striker up front by himself' strategy isn't working.

Gutless

Heartless

Passionless

No desire

No grit

I never want to see Benoit Assou-Eshitto in a Spurs shirt again. Deplorable attitude.

Zokora going off showed what he does for the team...slows down play and hinders creativity, for a spell when he went of we looked a much much better team.

Dawson is a championship standard player. Does not belong here.

Lennon deserves better than the way he is being treated. Cant believe Gilberto was brought in out of nowhere.

Is Modric injured or not? Why was he on the bench?

Since the CC win Ramos has performed on a par with the very worst of managers. He seems absolutely clueless and completely incapable of effectively managing footballers. Having said that we have made our bed now and we have to lie in it, to fire Ramos now would be disastrous, we simply have to grin and bear it and see how it pans out even at the moment I do feel Ramos is an absolute clown and is slowly running us into the ground.

Its about time we realised we're serious relegation candidates and not too good to go down.

Screw the cups and save our PL season has to be the order of the day

So many small individual errors occur each and every game. Lots of misplaced passes, poor first touches when running into space, ducking out of 50/50 tackles, poor delivery from set pieces...etc

These things all add up at the end of the game. Until we cut out these stupid mistakes we're not going to win a game.

In my opinion, we have GOT to play 4-4-2, we won't have any confidence until we can force ourselves to actually score a goal and take a lead.

Make Woody captain, and hope the responsibility makes him give the rest of them an earfull.

Drop Jenas and Zokora and have O'Hara and Modric as CM's.

we are honestly going to struggle to stay in the league if we continue to play like this. we aren't creating or scoring and we are conceding goals for fun. i also can see hull beating us next week. so many of our players just don't fight. fuck they are useless and just think they can turn up. i hate it, i hate so many of these overplayed, overfancied footballers in our team. relegation would be a blessing.

Can someone tell me why our 5 man midfield were jogging around in the first half? Were they out for a nice gentle stroll? It was a nice day.

And are we ever going to get a pen decision?

Woot!

Risky but I still like it. I am hoping they give up putting Modric in the middle and put him between the midfield and Pav.

Looks like the European games are serious business.

oops. I misread and thought Modric was starting.
