Definite no.

Truly believe that in footballing terms he is not as good as either Bent or Pavlyuchenko. Add that to a poor injury record, terrible levels of general fitness 99% of the time, and just a generally horrendous attitude/personality and you have the makings of a disaster waiting to happen if we re-signed him.

scatman you do talk a load of shit
funnily enough

we don't need other Target man.

we need short and pacy striker, Campbell is just on loan. so we need to bring Defoe back and might be second striker as well.

I would take him back as direct competition for Pav. Assuming Defoe will be joining...big assumption i know!

He was a good player for us for most of his time with us, but I don't think it'd be the right signing to make bringing him back.

I never understood the criticisms of his attitude. He seemed to love playing for us and on the pitch he was a striker/cheerleader. When players tried and failed to get him the ball he always applauded their effort and he always put in his all for us.

When Berbatov came along he understandably found himself out of the side and wanted to move on, we should do the same.

mido is constantly injured or non-match fit. It shouldn't even be a consideration. He doesn't have the drive to get fit enough for the Premier League, this has been shown time and time again with us and Middlesbrough.

yes i would take him back because he is a very good striker we saw that in his first season, he is very good in the air better than both bent and pav, he is stronger than bent and pav, if he came back he would start every game if we had defoe and mido up front and then modric supporting them that would be a very good attack it would have pace-defoe, strength and aerial ability-mido and the guile of modric.

He is way too unprofessional imo. No way should an EPL player's physic resemble a pub footballers. He is a joke.

However, he has pedigree, and if he played week in week out, he would be a good asset in a team consisting of Modric, Zokora, Downing, Bentley/Lennon and Defoe/Pavlyuchenko.

thought he was excellent in his second season (post-Kanouté, pre-Berbs) but his injuries and poor diet (saw him on Edgware Rd munching kebabs and smoking sheesha a lot) meant he never fulfilled his potential as a powerful striker

i think he's one of those who had great potential as a youngster but let it slip away...

so no thanks, he's had his best years (ajax, celta vigo and spurs methinks)

When he was at Ajax their fans rated him a better prospect than Ibrahimovic.

Nooooooooooo!

Though for pure comedy value i'd absolutely love to see Bent and Mido paired together up front.

Dumb and Dumber.
