Spurs Bear and Coyboy are my favourite tag team at the moment.

Givet, no thank you.

Cole, I'm 50-50 on although I think there are far better we could get.

Parker, I probably would be quite in favour of as would slot in quite nicely alongside Palacios.

Bit worried about his injury record though.

I like Parker, but think he'd be dreadful alongside Palacios. Wouldn't it be fair to say our most dangerous players are Lennon and Modric? I'd want the ball played to them as soon as possible, when they are in space and thus think Huddlestone, or another CM who can pass the ball (I want Makoun) is essential.

Whole article is discredited after suggesting that Givet is a better left-back than BAE, regardless of what other merits he might be able to bring to our squad. Givet's okay, but nowhere near as good a left-back as BAE.

Yes that rather pulled rug from under him

Van Der Vaart ?

I think he's too similar to Krunchie or Modric. I want those sort of players in the final third. I think it will be difficult to improve on our current 3 CM's. I know they all have their critics, but if you compare them with what is out there in other European teams, there doesn't seem to be a gret deal of viable options available. I mentioned Makoun, as Lyon might not make the CL this season, so he could be a possibility in the summer.

When you consider that the Prem is as good as any league in Europe, and there are few better midfield destroyers in it than Wilson, Huddlestone has arguably been the best player in his role in the Prem this season and JJ, though slaughtered often on here, is as good a back up CM as virtually any other team has, it shows how strong we really are in CM. Obviously a Lampard or Fabregas would improve any team, but other than players of that calibre, I think it will be hard to improve on what we have.

I'm not sure I think Givet is an improvement on BAE--Carlton Cole? Complete waste...

We do not really have a weak position but if I was to say our 3 weaker positions it would be a centre forward central midfielder and one of the full backs but that is really being picky. We basically need to bring back Carrick and Berbatov

Yep - just as we offload D Bent, we go and suggest another poorer version.

If we were bought by some rich Sheikhs and money were no object for transfer fees and wages I would say:
Edin Dzeko
Neven Subotic
Javi Martinez
