Tour of the emirates
My girlfriend works for a very corporate firm in the city who love their flashy soirées, and she took me as a plus one to the opening of the new 'Woolwich suite' which included pretty buff canapés (mini steak sandwiches, tomato, goats cheese and parma ham mini quiches, champagne etc) followed by a presentation (exciting) and then a tour of the stadium from an arsenal legend..

..having only a red star (not a gold one) we got Sammy Nelson (not Charlie George), and saw the ground, changing rooms, entrance etc).. and on several occasions i wanted to answer Sammy back; he kept saying "Because of course everyone copies arsenal".:bs: With regards to numbers on their shirts or stadiums etc..

..and I thought to myself, errr no, didn't the arse up shop and move from south london to our manor? Didn't they 'take on' our style of play? So regardless of how successful they have been in recent years and at the risk of sounding like a spurs fan clutching to history and not the now, spurs we're the originals in North London. They were the flair team of the early part of last century (as well as several interludes during it!)... it was tough enduring his boastful tirades, about how great the stadium is and how it was ontime and such a money making outfit..

..i rinsed as much champers as i could, resisted the urge of pooing on the pitch, and wore my spurs membership pin with pride under my suit lapelle!:shake:

Me and my mates got a free Ar%enal tour before the Young Buys game courtesy of a Yid who works at that place. To be fair to 'them' the stadium is quality however what made the tour even better was the fact we got photos in the ground with our Spurs flag (see below). The only bit of actual class in the place that day!!

My Gooner mate did the Emirates tour recently and got Charlie George as his host, I told him to say hello from me as Charlie was an old mate of my dad's. My mate was made up as Charlie took him and his girlfriend off to one side after the tour and had a good chat with them, signing a load of autographs for friends and family. All was going swimmingly until he mentioned that he was moving out of North London after many years.... because of "all the Muslims and foreigners", somehow I don't think thats a part of the tour many people get to see!

Everyone copies Arsenal with regards to numbers on their shirts?

What's that all about then?

Never heard that before, were they the first to sport numbers?

Thats quality!

I drive past there regularly and the other month I was driving past and there were loads of scum fans milling about outside for some reason (not match day)! So as I turned the corner into Hornsey road I started shouting "Yid army" at the top of my voice! Needless to say I got loads of abuse!

I've thought about it since and it was so childish, but I just had to do it! I'm 36 years old and a secondary school teacher! I even get into arguments with the older students about spurs and arsenal!

I really need to chill! But I just LOVE spurs!!!!!!!!!!!!
