Absolutely the correct team IMO. On paper we are very strong, on present form there is only really king who I would change from that team, were he to be available (and of course Gomes).

Surprised by Crouch starting, i thought Pav would've got the nod, however Crouch has set up most of VDV's goal's, so I hope he has a cracking game. Great to see the Hudd back.

Crouch has been effective for us but I just don't know how much more of his "bamby on ice" impressions I can watch.
He is actually painful to watch at times.
IMO in the absence of Defoe Pav is by far our best striker. He is weak, slow and quite lazy, but at least he shoots at the goal and is able to pass the ball.
