Just looked like he was going to go ballistic on Espn but also making us look petty can't admit blame for his bad ideas

Team was set up incorrectly at the start of the game. The reason why the team were dribbling it out of defence was because they had no target up front. Ok to play Defoe at home, but away he adds absolutely nothing

spursmonkey good post and well summarised.

Defoe one up top does not work, end of. At home it could work when you have a full Spurs side with Bale and Huddlestone, otherwise no.

Bad tactics from Harry, don't mind losing but not like that.

Harry was right, the defensive blunders were nothing to do with the tactics. You shouldn't be passing it to the other team from five yards away ffs!

Yet if we lumped it up to Crouch from the start there'd be even more complaints on here and the defenders still could have given the ball away cheaply.

I'm not trying to excuse the performance but the reality is that we lost bcause of individual errors and a stupid red card decision. (and to Fulham's credit they took full advantage)

As a Spurs fan I want to see my team win in style like Barca and Arsenal, and win the league and be in the CL every year. None of this will happen with Harry in charge, there no point in me criticising him because I have done that since he walked in the door at Spurs. However this result today doesn’t surprise me with him being in charge, his teams in the past are always a bit up and down however SOMETIMES they do play good football. However if you want a mixed bag of performances every week and a top 6 finish every year then I suggest we stick with Harry (but I warn you we won’t progress from where we are now) however if we want to go beyond that then we must look elsewhere Hiddink, Rikjaard , Jol and Schuster (the usual suspects) any of those will do. However if we want to progress we must change I know I’ll probably get abuse for this but I believe I am correct. However I will give Harry respect he took us from the bottom into the CL and I never thought he would do that, but he won’t take us further. I want us to win the Lge and CL and entertain and under him it won’t happen.

Absolutely correct. It's been a problem all season away from home. Unfortunately whether it's Defoe, Crouch or Pav, we really struggle to have someone who can move, hold the ball up and provide the target we require.

Agree Jerry but the setup was just wrong, was just asking for errors to be made, playing Modric in front of the back 4 so deep?? Wtf this isn't serie A.

He can do nothing about Dawson's individual mess ups but just like in the CC game vs Arsenal our set up from the start was just wrong. The fact that he doesn't seem to see this is of huge concern to me.

He seems to be making similar mistakes to those Ramos did in his final days, trying too hard to fit in all these attacking midfielders leaving us with no shape or defensive stability. Ultimately and ironically also totally removing much of our goal threat. This dilemma raised itself when VdV was signed and has been further exacerbated by the signing of Pienaar.

I just don't get why he is persisting with Hutton either, with little to no defensive minded players in midfield he should at least make sure our fullbacks are solid by playing Corluka over Al.

At least we would be losing the ball in the opposition's half, rather than the edge of the box. I agree it's not an ideal situation, but you have to make do with the players we have got.

I think you want too much in a short space of time. Remember all the people who used to say Jol couldn't take us any further and that we needed Ramos? The grass isn't always greener, Redknapp to me is a Spurs legend for what he has done for us so far and long may he stay with us!

I don't really agree with that because even when we're at our best, our defenders see plenty of the ball. Normally they don't give it away like today though.

Agreed he has done a good job for us, but will he take us further when I look at the gooners i cringe. They are consistently in CL and the top 4 can you hinestky see Harry doing that? compare him to the other top 4 managers is he in that bracket? I don't think so.

Can see Arsene Wenger ever buying Peter Crouch? probably answers the question.

I thought we were looking quite good and passing the ball around great until the first goal.

We were undone by a comedy of errors in defence, Dawson's ball out of defence was suicidal and Hutton's challenge was needless with a man not baring in on goal directly, Dawson's Cruff turn was pathetic (especially after already making a huge mistake in the game) and finding ourselves 2-0 and a man down in the first 12 mins killed us.

Bassong then let Hangerlaand drift behind him from the corner for an open goal and that goal pretty much summed up our performance after the first goal in general.

i wish defoe would be given a chance with vdv. i reckon they could work brilliantly, and defoe is gonna start scoring bucketloads soon.
