what the tabloids are doing (News organisations show much worse than someone laying on the floor) what other fans may have done how players reacted all irrelevant now, just thinking about Muamba's recovery now.

I think the shot of VDV praying on the pitch really hits home how bad the situation is. Actually made me feel a bit emotional, I'll spoiler it, just in case anybody thinks its a little bit crass to post.

Bolton Wanderers have released a short statement to confirm the latest developments about Fabrice Muamba. It reads:
"Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been taken to hospital following his collapse at White Hart Lane this evening during the FA Cup quarter-final. There is no further information at this stage."

Unfortunately not. Bad news would not be released immediately out of respect for the family. Whereas if he was in a stable condition that would be announced straight away

True, but then again him not being stable might be good news right now, so I wouldn't really say it's necessarily so that no news is bad news.

We'll know when we know, obviously extremely serious, but then again very few people are fortunate enough to collapse with medical staff and an ambulance on stand-by, so at least they've given him the best chance he could've had.

the interesting thing is he was definitely moving for a moment after he collapsed. he seemed to resist being turned over.

I know it is Twitter which is probably the least reliable outlet in the world but if that story is true then thank god for that

I played rugby with a guy who had this sudden death heart thing, he was asleep when it hit him. 19 years old and as fit as a bull.

Thoughts are with Muamba's family right now. It's a fucked up condition to have, if that is in fact what it is.

It happened to my cousin. Just died one night in his sleep aged 20.

Arsenal have released a statement via twitter saying their thoughts are with Muamba and his family.

Dont know what to say, im agonisingly refreshing to hear some positive news on the situation. Hope for the best, thoughts with muamba & all connected to him. Sad moment whatever the outcome. Fingers crossed for the best.
