I assume this is a loss, but I have absolutely nothing which backs up that it will be, for the simple reason that we're still pretty bad at bringing kids through.

We're starting (I suppose) see the fruits of his labours with the likes of Caulker, but the truth of the matter is that after his 6 year tenure at the club, the only one that's really been brought through is Caulker.

I concede, however, that this could be more to do with the senior management.

As long as we get a decent replacement I don't mind, I'm more worried about him tapping up some of those promising young players that look like they could breakthrough in the next 2-3 years.

He'd been here a while, just think he wanted a new challenge to avoid his career going a little stale.

Wasn't that the same line as was given about Broomfield and Senior? Sounds like compromise agreement talk to me.

I've only heard good things about Inglethorpe, but there's something bigger going on here. To lose 1 senior development staff member is usual. To lose 3 at the same time implies overhaul.

Broomfield was different, clearly Harry's man. Inglethorpe predates that, I just think it's a guy looking to broaden his horizons.

Indeed. I get the impression him and Andre don't get on at all well (hence AVB pushing for a DoF to come in over his head). I suspect Sherwood will be next out the door.

Andre's already had a pop about his lack of contacts/transfer experience meaning he wasn't a candidate for the DoF job, and didn't seem disappointed by him being linked to Blackburn.

You seem to spend a lot of your time guessing, normally to support to very negative spin on everything to do with THFC. Are you generally a glass half-full type of person or did something happen to make you despair so?

if spurs weer going places and had players of really great quality then he would have stayed.. they have just moved to this apparently flash new training complex yet he still leaves... a nice place to work with every top training method and facilaity at his finger tip and still leaves why???

instead of having retarded digs at why im so pissed at spurs and what they do ask yourself that.... ill tell its the same reason why modric left.. that spurs is only going one way and thats backwards. he is just getting out early before he is pushed, thats the bottom line and fair play to him for seen it.

That's a hilariously bad post, one of your golden greats this.

Well reserve team is a step up from the academy and since we don't have a reserve side anymore you can understand his reasons for leaving. That and the fact that Liverpool are the second biggest club in the world behind Newcastle.
The Premier Reserve League has been disbanded and replaced with the U21 competition in which we do of course have a team

BTW, Alex Inglethorpe has now left to join Liverpool.
Keiran McKenna was the coach in this weekend's Spurs u 18 match, so might have been promoted - Keiran used to play for Spurs as a talented CM but had to retire aged about 21 due to injury and took some sort of Sports Science degree. He re-appeared at Loghborough University (who have one of the best university football teams around), I think as a Physio, before rejoining Spurs as head of Performance Analysis for youth over last summer.
So if Keiran has got the job as u 18 coach, he comes without the experience Alex had of managing Exeter and some youth management experience before joining Spurs - hope he has picked up lots by watching Alex and other youth coaches since he has been back.
It will be interesting to see who is coach for u 19 NextGen series matches.

There is some more on him

I already like the fella.

Curious to hear where you have that info from mate. Never heard any of these things before. Please do share... :)

No offence intended. I am not having a dig at you. I just don't understand why you are generally so negative. Given our current financial clout I think we are actually doing quite well. In the second half of the nineties we were actually in a much stronger position financially (we were probably the fourth richest club) and yet we played terrible football and actually toyed with relegation.

Much of your negativity seems to based on speculation rather than fact. It seems a bit of a waste using such creative talent to such fruitless ends.
