Yeah i understand that it makes things interesting, but the internet (in particular spurs fans forums) is full of so many morons talking utter crap that as soon as somebody gets it right, they are suddenly glorified to the point where people are hanging on their every word. Its not that he gets it right, its just that he's one of the very few who sometimes gets it... not-wrong. I mean there are far more times where he has got it wrong than right.

My theory is that he obviously had a link to spurs in the Harry Redknapp regime, but nowdays that connection does not have as much power within the club as he used too in Harrys era. His connection obviously hates AVB for this, so naturally so does he. Its quite obvious. You're only as good as your connections.

While he does get good transfer information the latest "info" seems to be more personal opinion, and as you say very anti AVB..

Give me a few examples. Go on. :D

JJ's past info has been top class. Anyone doubting that simply hasn't been paying attention. Been far and away the top itk over the past year or so.

That said, reading between the lines of his recent twitter messages, and bearing in mind this blatant anti-AVB agenda of his, I do suspect that something has changed recently in his or his sources circumstances. The little tidbits that he lets out nowadays tend to be said mostly in a prior tense.

Often feels like JJ is someone close to Tim really. A friend, family member or maybe even mr Sherwood himself!;)

Indeed.

And it seems there's a major AVB-Sherwood power struggle going on at the moment, a bit reminiscent of the worst days of Comolli.

I'd like to see AVB given a DoF he wants/trusts.

No doubt hes being the most reliable of all the ITKs, which isnt saying much, but he gets a lot right. My main issue with him is that he exploiting the trust people have in him (trust which is possibly earned) by trying to preach his own personal opinion.

Its not his information that is necessarily the problem, its just that weird air of profesionalism and self importance he puts on when he is posting to try and delude people into believing he is more knowledgable about the clubs business than he possibly could be.

I really think that Younes Belhanda should be a bit higher on our list of targets. Montpellier has been in terrible form this year. They are already out of the CL (Only managed 2 points) and are sitting at 13th in the Ligue 1 League Table.

This strikes me as a great opportunity to get a guy in January that:

a.) Fits a need as an attacking or central midfielder and he has even played on the wings at times.

b.) His team is in a rough spot and could be open to moving him as they really don't have anything much to play for this season.

c.) He's young (22) and has a ton of potential. I've stated this before, most likely in this thread, that he reminds me of a more attack-minded/willing to take the shot Dembele with his strength on the ball and dribbling and obviously his finishing ability.

Can't disagree with the majority of that. The lines are pretty blurred with him at the moment due to some very obviously prejudiced opinions of his. Perhaps there's a validity to them that goes beyond a grudge, but it's impossible to say when he can only ever hint at problems rather than spell them out. He may have no choice in that but his distaste for AVB appears so overt that it's difficult to imagine that it's based purely on a professional opinion.

This dude reminds me a bit of our old player Adel taarabat and i dont mean that in a negative way. if we could have this guy for about 12mil it would be a dream. have just seen him for about 3or 4 games but looks really good

Totally agree. He's got some flair about him and I just love the way he moves on the ball. The guy's a good talent and might be ready to get out of Montpellier. I do believe Arsenal were taking long looks at him as well.

Watch the part at about 20 seconds in. Tell me that doesn't look like our very own Dembele. If we had these 2 on the pitch, with Sandro as our DM in a 4-3-3, we would retain possession so well while being very positive in attack.

Oh, and his celebrations: THE BEST.

I'm not sure why Belhanda isn't speculated upon as a transfer target more regularly. Very interesting player that would potentially offer a variety of options. He was even playing as a DM up until about two years ago. Not that you'd play him at DM now, but he's got it in him to be a very good all round central midfielder in addition to an attacker. Could be similar to Dembele in that sense.

Totally agree.

He's also the type of guy that I think if he comes in to the PL his value will just about double immediately. I could easily see him being worth over 20m after completing his first season in the PL.

Keeping it French the demunative playmaker at Marseille, Mathieu Valbuena, has always caught my eye.

Just speculation as most names mentioned in this thread are. A little bit older but in his prime.

I like him but likely to have an unrealistic transfer fee and I can't see Levy parting with anything near £20m plus for a 28 year old, despite being a fantastic player.

Wow didn't think he would be that much. If we could drop that to around 12 I would do it. In the national squad and a nice player.

JJ joined SC in 2004, Sherwood joined our coaching staff in 2008, so unlikely imo. ;)

How much would Andre Ayew be available for if available at all, he could be one of the top players in the world imo.

JJs anti-avb agenda is so ridiculous. When we've got the players themselves coming out and saying that they love him, and then on the other hand we have some hyped-up blabbermouth on the internet releasing 'insider info' upon any idiot that will listen, you can understand scepticism over JJ.

Dont know where he gets his info, but If JJ is lucky enough to work for the club, why does he just betray their trust and immediately post it on the fans forums? And if he has a friend in the business, a player or coach, then why is he betraying THEIR trust by releasing everything they tell him? All his ITK kind of reminds me of when those seance people on TV contact peoples dead relatives from beyond the grave.

Dude is obviously either a terrible employee, a terrible friend, or just a terrible liar. And whether or not he's any of those, he's certainly a big time attention seeker. Why people speak about him as if he is a beacon of truth is beyond me.

You are a keyboard warrior without any foundation whilst I have proved over the last 8 windows absolute cast iron information as close to Daniel as nobody else and yet you question me as i have told the story behind the scenes about AVB.

All the rest of you jumping on the bandwagon are unappreciative too.

I dont have to justify anything to you and the Mods know who i am.

Whinging moaning negative people like you are exactly why I'm not doing this anymore both on here and on twatter.Take take take focus on the negative like i have an anti AVB agenda. I couldnt give a stuff who the manager is, i just care about THFC and our success you read my posts how you like.

Call me a Hyped up blabbermouth who broke Siggurdson, Dempsey, Dembele, Vertonghen Modric and VDV leaving and everything else before they became public knowledge to the mods but not to you in your little internet world bubble that suited you enough.

People like you push me away from this forum as i simply cant block you.
