The transfer window clock is running down but -- The SC clock is running fast again - I wouldn't like to see us all get there before it is really finished.

Well A&C was alluding to a calm before a real storm, so i wouldn't be surprised if things were a little quiet this week with European football to deal with etc...
Players looking at fringe CL clubs might want to see how first legs pan out etc etc...
I think Willian looks almost a dead cert, at least as far as a player can be when we are dealing with ITK. A&C has been overtly vocal on him with his phrases and post codes and it does add some fun. If he just says we are interested in Willian then we all collectively go "uh-huh" and move back on to old topics. Like this we carry on dancing to his merry tune and frankly it is a hell of a sight merrier than the Bale crap.
The question is of course how big is big... if we are going to rock the football world then is Willian alone enough to do that? Or is there more (good or bad).
The end of this transfer window has a feel of growing epicness to it... we are not done and that's before you factor in Man United and Arsenal and what they HAVE to do. I just like the fact that we are competing with them for top players despite our lack of UCL.

Yea but in a normal window we would still be wondering where our first incoming would be coming from. We've already had 4 this time and it's not even deadline day, let alone 22:59. Overload.

If we can do anything like the business that we are rumoured to be doing with Willian and Lamela then we've got to think that this could be one of our best transfer windows ever!
As I'm greedy I'd still like an extra defender that could play on the left and cover the centre and another forward as well.
I have a strange feeling that we may make another bid for Leandro in the last week of the transfer window.

I am getting more and more enjoyment (don't panic, not pure enjoyment, perverse enjoyment) reading the RAWK site, and the delusional comments posted.
I cannot understand their thought process, and there conviction that we beat them to all there possible targets. Yes Siggy decided to come to us (which was strange as I can only imagine it must have something to do with David Brent'on Rogers as they were together at Swansea) and Dempsey who was an 11th hour signing so he really cannot have wanted to go to Anfield.
If I remember correctly they beat us to Carroll (thank god at that price) and Suarez, so I would say they held the upper hand in transfer targets between the 2 of us.
