I will love it if we bring in both Willian and Lamela.....

And then Levy break his silence over Bale and tells Madrid to fuck off.

Tissues at the ready........

Would rather Pamela to willian. More of a goal threat. Also I reckon gb is defo off if we buy one of these guys. Don't think both. Meadia makes it look like willian is the most likely

So we have ITK re a medicial this evening. At the same time Willian AND Lamela are rumored to be converging upon London. This is just too much! :D

What does it mean?

Its a song by the Smiths: "william it was really nothing". I assume a hint that this may actually be happening. Unless you are all a part of a dream i am having ofc. ;)

I think A&C's quotes have been a diversion tactic in the hope that we wouldn't notice this little story

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/m...ry-after-admitting-sex-with-goat-8775808.html

I thought that was quite funny until I looked deeply into it's eyes. I admit it's a kind of a pretty goat, with a knowing, seductive smile. And the hair on it's head - I think I want to run my fingers through its soft......

STOP IT NOW HOOPSPUR!!

The Lamela and Willian stuff is just a frenzy as usual until we hear something more solid. Really moved on a whole bunch from GreyFox's info if any medical is today.

K, calling it. Willian or Lamela I can deal with. Both and Bale is offski. Fuck it, I can deal with that also.

We've been here before. So close to something truly special only for it to fall flat right at the end. Feels different this time don't it? I mean, we've already completely gaped our record fee this summer and on a player nearer to 30 than 25.

Frankly I think I would maybe even rather get both and Bale be off.

I want Lamela a hell of a lot more than I want Willian, but a three of those two plus a left inside forward behind Soldado? Fucking hell.

In theory we need Willian playing centrally more than we need Lamela wide right in place of Bale. But I love Lamela :(

Mr DiMarzio is now stating €93 million for Bale with Coentrao heading to WHL. He could become an ITK god this week.....Or another annoying WUM......

Di Marzio is a well-respected Italian journo. Even so, it shouldn't be posted in here but in the Bale thread.

Or even those two flanking Bobby would be dangerous and full of movement.

Do you mean Alison Steadman?? Apart from "Bringing the boys on at half time ;)" I cannot think how else she would improve the squad.

I think they've looked at the teams above and realise we aren't that far behind.
Agree. I think the Soldado signing in particular is testament to this. Could have signed him last season, didn't and missed out by a hair's breadth on CL footy because of it. Lewis steps in, commands that we go for it (sensibly).

despite the fact that we've spent upwards of £60m, all in all its been very smart business. People mention Soldado's sell on value, but he will still have some in 2-3 years. The other players will more than compensate for that. Rather than look at each deal individually, the club now seems to look as our activity as a whole "our of £60m outlay, we should still receive upwards of 70%* of that back in transfer fees or results on the pitch, if not more.

*I've gone for 70% because I have no idea what an acceptable 'loss' would be. Just put 70% for arguments sake

Oh Willian, Willian it was really nothing!

Almost sure he was allowed the other day due to his previous contribution an another forum...correct me if wrong...

Sounds like "Never mind Willian, nothing to see here. We were interested in you when we didn't think we'd get Lamela but now we are, so as you were son, it was really nothing, our mistake".

I'm still fucked from V festival and I can't take the prospect of us signing Willian. It's overwhelming.

This is the best summer window ever.
