Lloris;
Naughton, Kaboul/Fryers, Vertonghen, Rose;
Sandro, Bentaleb;
Chadli, Soldado, Eriksen;
Kane.

I just want to see Soldado more involved in games, so i'm giving him a role closer to the midfield. I think he'll get a lot more space in the number 10 role, and he has the vision/ability to play passes in behind. Kane led the line so well when he came on t'other day that I want him to start. Chadli and Kane got something goin' on.

Chadli ---------- Soldado ---------- Andros

Erksen -------------------- Siggy
Sandro

Rose ----- Verts ------ Kaboul ------ Naughton

Lloris

Subs: Gomes, Fryers, Veljkovic, Winks, Paulinho, Lennon, Kane

Townsend will be under orders that if he cuts in more that 10% of the time he will be shot by sniper rifle or if he does not attack and whip crosses on a regular basis

Eriksen and Siggy given free roles to attack and create (still expected to defend when needed), with Sandro protecting.

He'll most likely play Kane because we scored two goals when Kane came on and that's excuse enough for Sherwood. Eriksen might play and Lennon has more chance of playing than Chadli. Bentaleb will get a run out for 92 minutes. Soldado didn't score on Thursday so he has a bigger chance of playing but I still think Kane will get the nod.

I think the Gilet might be rested but that's a tough call.

On the most recent injury news I'd go with:

Lloris
Naughton Kaboul Vertonghen Rose
Townsend Dembele Sandro Eriksen
Chadli
Adebayor

Subs: Friedel, Fryers, Bentaleb, Paulinho, Lennon, Kane, Soldado

Does Soldado have to physically lie down and curl up into a ball for 90 minutes before people stop saying he should be picked for the next game?

Fuck me even Harry Kane looks good in comparison to Soldado.

I would go with this too. I personally prefer the look of Chadli in the middle as opposed to Eriksen.

They rested Adebayor on Thursday and you think he wont start today?

Season is pretty much over, I'm not against experimenting a bit now. Deserving of a start:

Lloris - Obv.
Naughton - Doing better, Walker injured.
Rose - Was better defensively.
Sandro - In midfield, for balance.
Fryers - Deserves a chance to build on Thursday night.
Bentaleb - Ditto.
Chadli - Ditto.
Eriksen - On recent form.
Kane - If Adebayor is struggling still, then give him and Chadli in partnership a proper go.

So for me its choices for a centre back to partner Fryers (probably Kaboul as a right footed option) and flip a coin to see who plays on the right.

Look boys I know deep down realistically top 4 is over but I refuse to completely dismiss it whilst it's still mathematically possible to get 4th. Let's not forget Arsenal still have City and Everton to play and apart from Liverpool away all our other remaining games are winnable. Don't get me wrong I know we won't do it and I know for a fact that were not good enough to get 4th but anything is possible in football and I just want to see us push on with a really thumping win today. It's been a shit season but I still would love to win all our remaining 8 (including yes Liverpool :) ...and see where it takes us. "fans" calling for us to lose today because there is nothing to play for are frankly pathetic. Were you doing the same when we were a midtable club every season?
