We need a couple of exceptional ones to achieve, not the whole team. Team needs to believe in a system and know what is expected of them. Added to that only match winners will get you anywhere. Lukaku could do something special

For info, please don't get too caught up on the "red" as the original German that A&C quotes refers to luftballon which means balloon. The red was only added to the English version to increase the syllable count to match the original so that it scans.

I'm completely baffled as to what it could have to do with anything to be honest. @Nine while nine has probably had the best guess so far, or it could just be that we're linked with a German player. Nena (who sang it) is from North Rhine-Westphalia, which is where Dortmund, Schalke, Gladbach, Leverkusen and a host of other German clubs play. Could be clutching at straws now though.

The lyrics translated (roughly, doesn't entirely make sense from a direct translation)
