Soldado, without doubt.

I expect good thing from Poch and our collective approach, Lamela to shine in a new style of play as well.

But its Soldado who I think will really profit. We'll move the ball faster and work him quality openings for him. Lamela and Eriksen will provide him plenty.

I may be wrong on this, but doesn't Poch prefer a big, target man type striker up top? If Ade is still here come Sept 1st I reckon it'll be him who gets the majority of the games (if fit)

He does.

But that doesn't mean Soldado couldn't prosper with the right service. So a lot will depend on what Poch sees during training.

Levy, hope he has his finger surgically removed from the trigger.

Soldado and Capoue with Lamela as a bonus.

While he was very good last season, unlike others I think that Eriksson played almost to his peak potentially, so I don't expect that there will be a lot of visible improvement here. I hope I am wrong.

The Poch.

He will need to generate some confidence for some players, especially those who are coming back from injury. We had so many players in their first PL season too, they should be more settled.

He will need to have a blinding season coaching two or three players up a level.

I think he can do it! But I thought we would be top three this time last year too:unsure:

Only at Southampton and that was probably because that is what they had. The only striker signing he made was Osvaldo and he is 182 cm's. At Espanyol, the tallest striker he played was 182 cm's and the shortest 177cm's. Soldado is 179cm's.

Soldado, Lamela, and Chadli to improve significantly, Vertonghen and Kaboul to rediscover their 12/13 and 11/12 form respectively, and Lloris and Eriksen to continue where they left off from last season. I think we'll be alright if all of that happens.

The manager. Our squad is not a million miles away and better than the majority if we could address the left side. If we could get Dembele, Chadli, Lamela, Vlad, Soldado and Capoue to somewhere near their abilities we will be ok.

Bus Conductor. By his own standards was quite poor last season but there were glimpses of his true potential. New season, fresh start. Can't wait to see what he comes up with.

I'd be happy to see us play as a team, and the fans to give the players a chance and a bit of support.

I expect us to play some proper football again and have a solid defence/be more creative and clinical in front of goal.

However, with the big clubs strengthening again and Everton being extremely difficult to beat, I can't see us finishing any higher than 6th with our current squad.

We need 3-4 quality additions and to hold onto the majority of our squad to mount a sustained assault on the top 4 next season. Will we sign the players we need? I doubt it.

I have a good gut feeling about Soldado.

Me too mate. I'm sure he's determined to show us all what he can do after a disappointing last season. I really have a strong feeling about him. You don't go from being a damned good player to being a poor one just by changing clubs, and I for one have faith that he can deliver the magical 20+ league goals, with the right support of course.

The good thing is that he's hardly anybody's tip to come good, so the eyes will be 'off him'.
