Gotta love this comment:

"As a Nigerian I am disappointed that he signed a pre contract with Tottenham. They don't have a history of developing young talent. He should have gone to Man City at least it appears they take youth development serious.

I hope it is not to late for him to back out of the contract with Tottenham."

Followed by: "Surely, you know nothing about premiere league"

Hahahaha. WOW.

I know we have to take the age group into account, but that's a bloody impressive video. The lad loves to drive forwards, but seems to do the right thing with the ball when he gets to where he wants to be. Dare I say it, he's like a young Yaya Toure.

I still don't know how there's nothing concrete about this transfer. Trix' buddies weren't aware we agreed and signed him. There was never an announcement from the site, either. So, for a guy who is supposed to be at training today, to have nothing confirmed, seems a bit strange. Perhaps it's just because he is only 16 years old.

What's exciting about that video is that it's all technique, vision and ball manipulation rather than strength and pace which doesn't always translate when playing with adults

Looks a good prospect indeed, if we have signed him I hope he doesn't vanish into the development squad black hole

I find the agent and his actions and comments very disturbing. I wouldn't want him anywhere near Spurs. Regardless of the talent of the players.

I would, so we can help the little fellas maybe get them away from him and on to someone who is more respectable.

Musa Yahaya Impresses Spurs
Musa Yahaya Impresses Tottenham Hotspur Coaches, To Pen Four-And-Half Year Deal

Tottenham Hotspur prevailed in the fight for the signature of one of the hottest prospects on the African continent, Musa Yahaya, seeing off competition from fellow Londoners Arsenal and Ajax Amsterdam.

But since that deal was completed on March 10, 2014 for a fee of 1 million Euros excluding performance related incentives, the White Hart Lane outfit have not had a glimpse of the Mutunchi Academy midfielder.

Ahead of the start of the season, the 16-year-old began practicing with the Tottenham Hotspur Academy on Monday, and so far, he has tickled the fancy of the coaching staff.

''Musa is with the Under 21 Team of Tottenham but he will be joining the main team once in a while. I have spoken with my partner there and he said they are highly impressed with his performance.

''He started training with them on Monday and will continue there for one month,'' Babawo Mohammed, who will travel to the United Kingdom on Thursday to join his client, said to SL10.ng.

The Nigeria youth international has signed a pre-contract with Spurs, but there is a black and white agreement in place that he will pen a professional deal with effect from January 1, 2016, and by then he would have attained the age of maturity.

For agreeing to sign a preliminary contract with the Londoners, Yahaya would be paid £125,000 in five equal installments excluding his annual wage of £120,000, on the proviso that he remains on the books of his nursery club, Mutunchi Academy until December 31, 2015.

Musa Yahaya's contract with Spurs will expire on June 30, 2020, and he is set to pocket £50,000 when he makes his first Premier League start for the club.

I saw that this morning. Still it's all coming from his agent, surely somebody has to know if this kid is at the grounds training and can verify....
Surely someone who has twiiter could tweet some of the U21's to confirm.
