You made it to July without having to rehash this old argument. That would seem like improvement.....well other than the fact that people are still putting stock into twitter. That is just sad.

Come on, I posted on the front page not to go overboard!!

We are Spurs fans, if there are any set of fans that are used to the spectacular failure of something in the most extraordinary circumstances possible, it's us... yet we see the same people fall for the same shit year in year out :)

If only there was some place that people could visit that was made up of nothing but tweets. Imagine if you could even choose who to follow, so all you'd need to do would be to log on to your account and you'd be able to see a whole list of information from reliable names such as 'Mr Definitely ITK', or 'Real Football Agent'.

I'm surprised nobody has thought of setting up such a website. Now we just need a name. Hmmm...Tweeterer? Twittings? Twatwat?

Keep in mind that people put stock in twitter because there are a ton of reliable sources on it (JJ, Gards and numerous reputable writers for example), problem being there is a metric fuck ton of WUMs on there as well.....so balance becomes difficult, how can a non-obsessive supporter distinguish between someone like JJ and some other random person?

The system A&C has in place at the moment seems to work, it may be somewhat restrictive but we also don't have pages of debate on why Messi is most definitely going to sign for us in the next 4 days....

I agree on the system. It is restrictive, but it's needed. I do like the occasional off the rails ITK spaz out that we get every once in a while when someone posts an unapproved Tweet, but other than that this is how it needs to be.

Ton(ne)s is generous. More like one or two at most, per club, amongst thousands of others who rehash every rumour going and make an educated/complete guess. I include most of the journalists in this.

Southampton director on Sky Sports now saying that MS and JR won't be sold.

I can't imagine the players will take too kindly to that but this one unfortunately looks like running on to August - maybe even beyond!
