Friendly rating for anyone who can post a brief synopsis. Cheers!
Nothing new - jokes about whether he is manager or head coach; easier to speak with his team than to the press (in english - worried about getting translation wrong, but entire interview is in english best I have heard from him. Wants to give everyone a fresh start - goal is to play as a team.

Still does not like Europa league - but understands goal is to win to gain Champions league.

Never enough training for him - team always improving.

Ultimate goal is top-4, and then to someday win the league.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

As you say, it wasn't earth shattering but he said all the right things.

Yeah, the other part I liked about the video were background shots - showed him coaching several players - I am guessing that is what the players really like. I think he works them hard, but he is out there constantly coaching and teaching.

I'm glad he said the goal is to win the league eventually. I got fed up of some previous managers lowering expectations the whole time.

Exactly: it's not just running them ragged for the sake of fitness but it actually has a point to it.

Gotta say... there really is something special about this guy. Seems like he has a balanced approach that is the equivalent of marrying Harry's people skills with AVB's discipline. I was going to say tactics and style of play for AVB, but for whatever reason it never seemed to land. Don't know if that's due to his lack of people skills, or was simply not that clever. Either way... I feel supremely confident that we finally landed a coach that will lead us to trophies.

F###ing love this guy.

He wasn't my first choice but from what I have seen and heard I am now glad we went for him.

I don't expect top 4 this season, I think we will have a slow start but am optimistic that we will see good football and a strong finish.

I believe he will be liked and respected by the fans and therefore given the time to build a team capable of challenging at the top of the league in seasons to come.

Um, not that I'm one to complain about ratings, etc... but sorta curious why Knarf44 gave me a SPAM rating for my post? Been posting on here for a long, long while, first time I've ever been compelled to question why someone did something like that... only 'cos I don't want to offend others in the future.

His charisma is self evident. It's a quality that a manager/head coach needs in order to get the best of of the squad of players available to him. I'm looking forward to see how the team does and I hope the fans give him time. :)
