Nothing new - jokes about whether he is manager or head coach; easier to speak with his team than to the press (in english - worried about getting translation wrong, but entire interview is in english best I have heard from him. Wants to give everyone a fresh start - goal is to play as a team.Friendly rating for anyone who can post a brief synopsis. Cheers!
As you say, it wasn't earth shattering but he said all the right things.Nothing new - jokes about whether he is manager or head coach; easier to speak with his team than to the press (in english - worried about getting translation wrong, but entire interview is in english best I have heard from him. Still does not like Europa league - but understands goal is to win to gain Champions league.
Never enough training for him - team always improving.
Ultimate goal is top-4, and then to someday win the league.
As you say, it wasn't earth shattering but he said all the right things.
Exactly: it's not just running them ragged for the sake of fitness but it actually has a point to it.Yeah, the other part I liked about the video were background shots - showed him coaching several players - I am guessing that is what the players really like. I think he works them hard, but he is out there constantly coaching and teaching.
Great to listen to a Spurs manager who does not suffer from verbal diarrhea.
F###ing love this guy.
