This is a massive season for him, 3rd choice striker with plenty of games to play, so should get enough chances to impress. If he impresses then a prem loan as a starter would be ideal for him next season!

The only way we'll ever get to see HK develop and mature is if he gets a good run of games. Potentially, he could be a superb asset to us in the longer term. He needs all our support along the way, and I have to say, I'm delighted he's put pen to paper and signed up for another five years. It shows his commitment to the club and his determination to succeed.

I'm also delighted that so many players are signing long term contracts now. I think Pochettino has made a really strong impression on them, which augurs very well for us all.

I'm really hoping we put in better performances in the cups this year. If we take them seriously then the players playing in them can feel like part of the team rather than outcasts.

I hope Kane starts our EL and league cup games then is an option in our league games.

With his new 5 year contract, we just have to stick to him, then. Let's hope he can surprise a few people, then.

Think he has a nice shot on him and can be unselfish. Lacks a lot of pace though. I think he's a handy striker to bring on. I'd be surprised if he could score more than 12 league goals a season

Hard to tell till he gets a run in the team. He scored 3/4 in 6/7 games at the back end of last season in his only run in the side to date

Not every player needs to have pace, I think the club know what kind of player he is.

I just wish we had Teddy at the club to teach him.

That's true, as Teddy was even slower than him. That would be perfect someone like him teaching him to add more to his game

Still don't rate him as a striker at all. Think he looks weak, easily brushed off. No pace, no close control ball skills, terrible shooting, clumsy, uncomposed of clinical aggressive edge

Yet he does seem to have an eye for a pass and semi decent movement. Maybe as a deep lying forward were his main purpose is to assist and pop up in the box to score a few goals will be his thing. A Gus poyet lite

As line leading forward though, nope don't see it. Shot technique and composure is much too poor

Did you see him play against Hull in the cup last season? Showed 2 bits of great shooting technique, once when he cracked a shot from range that hit the post and also for his goal which was a perfectly placed shot with his left foot into the bottom corner.

I got belief in this kid, definitely not the finished article but pretty much the perfect type of player to have on the bench imo
