Oh just fuck off Welbeck, fuck off with your Fresh Prince of Bel Air haircut and stop mugging everyone off, conning them into thinking you're a footballer. Shite player.

Well the thought of signing both Fazio and Welbeck would turn what initially looked like a promising transfer window into a pretty shite one, however I tend to think it's just another agent link to show his player is still available.

I think that is overstated to try and find a positive aspect of his ability.
I believe his interception stats have been very impressive over the last few years. He is the ideal player to be the trigger for the press, it's just a shame his finishing is so damn awful.

If the fee is around £8-10 million I wouldn't mind taking him. He is only 23 years old and will certainly have a point to prove. He could also benefit from Pochettino's youth effect.

Poch might be a fairly good manager, but he can't work miracles. Making Welbeck a good player is similar to fixing Ledley's knee and bringing him out of retirement.

Harry Kane already looks to becoming a far better player, already.

I remember similar thoughts towards Sturridge when he was at Chelsea

I think Sturridge was more highly thought of than Welbeck, by me certainly at that time. Thats not to say I think Welbeck isn't a good player. I actually think playing regularly under a manager who shows faith in him would see him doing quite well. A move away from Man U where the striking options are very competitive might be best for his career and see him become a better player. Much like Sturridge at Chelsea actually when he took the step down to Liverpool.

I wouldn't mind Wellbeck

He's young and physical, and probably a more skillful player than his utilization at Utd has allowed him to show.

It's not like he's going to miss more chances than Soldado is it?

Welbeck works hard but is not a good player. I watched him for England u21 and his movement was terrible. Sturridge was on the bench and when he came on his movement was very good.
