Starting Fazio and Kaboul ahead of Vertonghen was beyond fucking dumb. If Verts is on the bench he is obviously fit enough to play and by not starting with our strongest 11 away at City then Poch is unfortunately getting what he deserves. And why spend 11m on a new left back if he is not an improvement on what we already have. Disappointing as always.

Yep Vertonghen makes a massive difference when one on one with Aguero.

Aguero is world class and it would make little difference who played at the back.
