By those standards all of the following clubs should be considered bigger than us on top flight titles;

Utd, Liverpool, Arse, Everton, Villa, Sunderland, Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Sheffield Wed, Leeds, Wolves,
Huddersfield, Blackburn, Preston North End
Nottingham Forest too, no?

Of those listed, many clearly ARE bigger than us.
However, many are no longer in the same league anymore, let alone still competing around us.

For the record.
United. Bigger.
Arsenal. Bigger.
Chelsea. Bigger.
City. Bigger.

I'll tell you this for a fact, Everton and Villa fans consider themselves bigger than us.

The rest have fallen off the football map.

I would rather live in the present thanks than live on past glories like the bin dippers do.
They've won the Micky Mouse cup more recently than we have.
They've played in the champions league more recently than we have.
They're currently above us in the league.
They've beaten us in the last FIVE consecutive games including utter batterings.
Shall I go on?

And. All you will still hear from their fans is about how they were great once.

If (and I quote if) we pip them to 5th this year then that will be twice in four years we have been above them. They might have trounced us but we are only behind them by a point. They are there for the taking.

 WWWWwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

We've had a win, we've had ITK, we had rumours about the stadium and potential naming rights and we've still got 1 more game to play ...surely this thread is uncalled for? Have things got this desperate? Lets not stoop to the scousers level eh?

Anfield will have a new capacity of 54,000 in about 18 months. Even when our new, very-slightly-bigger-than-that-stadium is built we'll still struggle to finish top 4. Do you think Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd will fall off the face of the earth? We'll still be also rans....and Liverpool will be just above us or maybe just below us.

More attractive, i.e. City, stadium, training facilities yes of course. Bigger, laughably no.

Reading about the Sterling contract situation, Liverpool are now a direct rival to us. They can't keep their best players, unlikely to qualify for the champions league year in, year out.

I really think, that once we move into our shiny new stadium, we will be a more attractive club to any player. 60,000 seater, purpose built stadium in London. With state of the art training facilities, and the biggest footballing city on the planet behind us.:cool::cool:
Liverpool's matchday revenue is actually bigger than Man City's matchday revenue despite them having a smaller capacity and in the 2016/17 season their capacity will be increased to 54,000. Overall their revenue is 305.9m, our overall revenue is 215.8m.
I don't really see what players we can attract that we don't attract already if our status is the same as it is now 5/6 every season and one trophy.
