Nabil will always be the one that drops between the centre backs.
I disagree. While he will drop back once in a while I think the reason we're looking for defensively strong players like Kramer, Imbula and Schneiderlin is to have a better shield for the back line. While neither of them are going to act as full-on destroyers their roles will be similar to Wanyamas at Soton.

You do realise that the account that says 'Thank you very much' is not his real account.

Just saw the highlights from the match. Poor opposition, but Islam Slimani showed again why I want him: Strong header for Algeria's first goal and a brilliant flick for the hockey assist on Algeria's 3rd.

Bentaleb will be massive for us next season

The shackles of doubt and inexperience will have been blown away. I fully expect him to really kick on and become a star.

I'd put money on him being at Madrid, Barca or Bayern before he is 25. He'll become a world-class player (and IMO our next captain)

Looking at the signs I would say that Kane will be the more likely candidate for captain. He was already handed the armband once last season.

Not disagreeing with the world class part though. Just hope he succeeds with us rather than away from us.

I'm not saying that Kane isn't captain material but I think it would make sense not to make Harry captain, he has enough on his plate in that he is the main player to get goals for us without also relying on him to be our captain too, someone like Bentaleb for a future captain would make more sense.

Do not disagree with Shard and you but just saying that it seems to me Poch favors Kane to be captain in future based on what happened on the pitch last season.

Yeah I think he does too, but I would prefer it if Kane wasn't given the added responsibility of the captaincy, maybe 2nd vice captain instead, something like that.

I hope Kane isn't captain just because of the belief that I've always had. I don't like strikers being captain because I always like to have captains who are constantly looking forward and seeing the game unfold. I don't even like keepers as captains (to a lesser extent) because they are too far back. Gotta be a defender or central midfielder for me all day long.
