Sweet dreams @Spurrific
I haven't posted for a long time but Gabes info is making my fingers dance. (and the wife is about to sit on them!)
I'm struggling to see the advantages of the nfl hookup? I mean articles have said Wembley pulled in 2m per game 4 home internationals? Seems like a drop in the water. Maybe someone can enlighten me to a blog/article
Gabe is making me wet.
NFL and THFC were negotiating to hold NFL games in the new stadium instead of at Wembley. Deal is going through now. In theory, it should provide Spurs alot more stadium revenue and alot more exposure in the US.I think I missed something regarding the NFL.
What's the story there and why has everyone spooged in their trousers?
Ta.
Then we wouldn't own the stadium ourselves? I imagine this will just be a simple rent out for them to play there 8 nfl games per year.I'd assume they'd also be helping to fund the stadium as they're going to get basically a custom made stadium that converts into a full on NFL setup when they need it, which is much better than what Wembley can provide. Plus exposure for us in the U.S. to boot....
No, this is about a new nfl franchise team playing in London, not about the one or two nfl games wembley getNFL and THFC were negotiating to hold NFL games in the new stadium instead of at Wembley. Deal is going through now.
