With Trix seemingly still fairly confident on Illarramendi and this moving smoothly (so far but we all know it will probably have lots of twists and turns) things look good at the minute. However, I fear this is instead of Berahino and not as well as. I know that he isn't a striker like Saido but he is gonna be £18m+ like him. I personally can't see us spending more than £40m on two players and signing a CM in the next 6 days. I hope I'm wrong but it just seems too good to be real

Townsend (15m) + Lamela (15m) = Son (18M)

Other Transfers (17M) + Lennon + Ade + Fazio (7M?) = Berahino

That doesn't leave a lot for a CM though...

Interesting if talks have been going on for weeks, not one uttering from the media or ITK.

Sounds like guns have been jumped but least there's talks... Confused how one man's thoughts can be translated in so many ways :cautious:

I'm also guessing this means Lamela out to be replaced by Son. Berahino would seem to be independent of this so I expect a striker to come in addition to Son even if it's not Berahino. Honestly, I'd be fine with an old pro who could play the 9 and spell Kane when the fixture list gets congested.

I have no idea how Poch is going to sort all of the attackers out. Pritchard and Alli need to play but that's a worry for another day, I guess.

So he's had/having a medical but we haven't actually agreed a fee yet?

Völler - "I saw many medicals in this window where there was no deal after. We'll try to reach an agreement but only under our conditions."
Doesn't make sense at all...Maybe it's a new trend in football given Berahino supposedly had one.

Doesn't sound as promising as it did an hour ago...

Don't see us shelling £40 million + on Son and Berahino, can anyone?

Ji-Sung Park was very good for United before he tired. Ki has been very good for Swansea also. Although neither are classed as "world class".
Young-Pyo Lee was ok to I guess! Well was better than Atouba Edman and Gilberto

Lamela must be off if son and berahino come in.

If he's having a medical then personal terms must have been agreed (unless his name is Federico) and then I believe that most players of European teams e.g teams in Spain, France, Germany have release clauses. Basically everyone there has a release clause of some sort. IIRC some German chairman maybe Dortmund's said that Bayern are ruthless in how they buy from the Bundesliga and that if they really want you then they find out your release clause and just pay it without discussion, apparently what they did with Gotze. So as I presume HMS has a release clause, this should move quite quickly.
