The only positive I can take away from this game is that Danny Rose hasn't lost any momentum, at least we're sorted at left back for a few years.

Two hopefully decent attacking signings so far but it's an absolute joke when we've had four games and have to wait until September before they can play. Momentum is everything in football and we are stalling now.

9pts dropped due to lack of preparation in terms of playing staff. This is not negativity .. It's fact ..

1: lol

2: No, its likely, its possible, its a maybe and its your opinion

What it isn't, is 'fact'……..and as much as hate using the word where onions are concerned, that IS a fact.

Ok I'll rephrase my post. I'm not trying to be too negative after today but the fact is we have 3 from 12pts. In my opinion being ill prepared for the start of this season has cost us. I now believe we face an uphill task against other teams who already have gained psychological momentum brought about by consecutive wins.

We can't win a game of football ffs. What a terrible habit to have. But let's say how well the team played and how unlucky we were. Pathetic
Haha played very well everywhere except finishing, ya dropping points in a game you should have won sucks. But bro, 4 games into the year, no need to be so negative already, we've lost one game and we shouldn't have even lost that, things are coming together and our young players are kicking on. Long season, just try and enjoy the ride, Spurs is suppose to be fun

Very frustrating game.
But I couldn't see anything but positives from the game.
We created more than ever, hing stopping us we played better than any game we did this season. Only thing stopping us was a in form GK & bad finishing.
Atleast we have not regressed like Liverpool or Chelsea since start of season.

We started brilliantly last season - winning 2 in 2. Even then people complained we weren't ready.
We dropped points not because of lack of preparation - but because of not taking the chances - whether its Eriksen Vs United or Kane Vs Stoke or Chadli,Kane,Mason Vs Everton yesterday.

Had we taken those chances - you wouldn't be complaining.

Not many applauding Dembele? He has improved vastly since last season! Forward balls, attack-minded & just being a general boss. Really impressed so far. Hope he isn't out of action too long!
Better but still too many touches at the wrong times. How difficult is it for the coaching staff to make him play it early? On one occasion he beat the same Player twice for no apparent reason then got mugged. In his defence he should be playing in the middle somewhere

Big creative hole with no Eriksen today. Think we did well considering, especially as Kane has been asked to do way too much. Faults were Poch's late timing for subs, and lack of clinical finishing from the likes of Kane, who is a clinical finisher ninety nine percent of the time. Only real negative was the result itself, but the attacking cavalry, in the form of recent signings, should give us hope to get the results going forward.
agreed we missed Eriksen but think we played forward a bit earlier and got more players into box without him. Obviously two may not be linked

Yesterday reminded me of some of the home games under redknapp where we would look decent but couldn't score because our strikers misfired or the opposition keeper had a blinder.

If I recall correctly, we lost all of those 1-0....and everyone blamed Crouch. lol

The defence looked solid barring Walker, and Dier was a beast. Some of our build up play was immense, but our finishing really let us down badly. There are plenty of positives, but many won't see that because again we didn't pick up 3 points.

Sorry disagree , at least he gets into the positions , lampard missed loads of chances at the start of his career and he turned out ok plus he's been the victim of great goal keeping , masons attitude is superb
Need more than just a good attitude. Quality, ability and conversation of chances win games. He lacks this in my opinion.
