Chelsea move quickly because they simply hurl money at whoever they want. Abramovich likes new toys - wish I could sell my car to him. He could have my 10 yr old BMW for £25k.
It's always down to money. The less you are willing to spend, the longer it takes. So we take forever. If Chelsea wanted berahino it would take them 24 hours. That's just what we have to deal with. I can't see us getting berahino now. Think we are done unless we get quite a few outs

I cannot believe we won't sign a cf to back Kane up. Nobody in the squad can play cf (son, n'jie, chadli) especially as a one up. There will be at least one deal.

There was some ITK on a possible Loan deal and probably late. That sounds like a foreign player to me. There was no talk of who it might be.

You'd hope so but I'm not do sure, think we will just mix and match re strikers. Its very late now and didn't JJ say that a new striker would be difficult?

Good amount of noise when Son was arriving. Seems very quiet generally now. If we had something imminent, you'd think we'd be hearing something. I'd be surprised if we pull in anything more than a loan striker. DM could be dead now Dier is staking a claim.
Deadline day doesn't work by normal rules. Things can materialise (at least publicly) hours or even minutes before the deadline.

It's odd all the papers and commentators say son is in to play as a cf. pretty sure there wrong but that's the thoughts in the media

Difference is we all know berahino for sale at right price. stones is not. Even at a crazy 40 million

So what is the 'right' price for Berahino - initially WBA said £25m, then rumours they are saying £30m.

My view £20m including some incentive paymenfs

Still a big range whichever figures

Really nervous about the next 48 or so hours kind of feel our season hinges a bit on wether we do any business or not. Despite the 2 signings we have made recently like a lot of people have said we still need an out out striker i.e Berahino or some one similar and a dm. Concerned that Levy doesn't see it this way though especially now we have Clinton and Son and with Dier playing well (which is a real positive) as a dm.

For that money we can take our pick of young players abroad and they probably will have a higher ceiling to boot.

He really isn't a 25/30 million pound player yet imo

Do you think WBA have been moving the goal posts? A couple of weeks ago it seemed the price got hiked but maybe's that my spurs tinted specs
