WHU just under siege at the moment, can't get the ball out of their final third.

That was an idiotic sub, but one often made by managers. Bring another striker on but take off one of the guys you need to make chances for him. Jol used to do it all the time.

They should have switched Sterling to the right, Navas can't pick anyone out.

He also could have left Sterling on and moved De Bruyne to the right.

If West Ham do manage to win this, that will be three away wins at Arsenal, Liverpool and City. They've rode their luck today but fully merited the first two.

Pretty incredible really that we're this early in the season and they've managed this many scalps on the road.

Their side is made for this league, with the power and pace they have. People derided Moses but he has pace and power in abundance.

This season is shaping up to really be the season of the team, rather than any standout superstars thus far. I know early season games, you often see less fancied teams riding the crest of a wave, but instead of being up there competing with the top teams, Leicester & West Ham are comfy there because the other top teams are cocking it up. The losses they suffer are as important as the results these two get right now.

We could do with taking a leaf out of their book when it comes to putting a proper shift in.

It was absolutely ridiculous. Sterling looked very dangerous. I noticed how the opportunities dried up after that.

Getting knocked out of the Europa league was West Ham's best result. I bet they wouldn't have won against Man City if they had still been in it.

Early season but spammers look very good, well put together side with pace and creativity and solidity at the back.
Pretty much all things we are lacking ....

Premiership may not be the best but it's an unpredictable league where the big team aren't guaranteed a win all the time.

Moses shutting a few people up including me. :D

They've conceded more than us, including 4 against Bournemouth

They have also played arse Liverpool and citeh all away ....want to talk numbers after we play those ?

Well the goals they've conceded have come at home to Leicester and Bournemouth. They're a strange team this season so far like I said. They have looked good away against big teams, but have looked shambolic at home to teams they should be beating. Although they beat Newcastle very comfortably. I think they look great on the break, I think it's when they come up against teams that sit deep and hit them on the break where they have struggled.

I think they are deffo going to be challenging for the top 8 and possibly higher if they can sort out some of the issues they've displayed against poorer opposition.

Reid has also shut up a few people here at SC with his performances against the 3 big teams the spammers have played so far

I love Costa, he's such a pain in the arse, but any player that lets him wind them up is a fucking idiot.

I understand why Wenger is moaning, but if I was him I'd be more pissed off that both my CB's let themselves get wound up by him. They cost Arsenal that game.

What I love today is the United attack's shirts are - 7, 8, 9, 10...

Gives me a semi that does.

Good start from Southampton, Mane's taking up good positions.
