Skim read or better still look out for the ratings, if I am limited for time I look out for the blue "i" ratings or posts with "Winner" or many "agree/like" ratings.

Sometimes that's the case, but last summer it wasn't updated regularly, there was a lot of stuff in this thread that didn't always make it to the RO. So it's not just a case of simply using one thread or the other. I can understand when people get frustrated, when they log on to SC and see another three pages on this thread, and think there is probably some interesting itk then come in here and it's just three pages of off topic drivel.

Totally. I remember the times when you had to trawl through 30 pages of chat EVERY DAY ! Sometimes it was closer to 70 pages depending on what had happened

The biggest issue surrounding the nonsense and lack of ITK stuff is.........

Agree and in past windows going through the thread as if it was "live" was all part of the fun with much great banter together with the nonsense. Apart from the cabbages stuff, which was genuinely annoying.
