Can you do a loan deal with some kind of call back option? Letting him return to Fulham seems ok (if not ideal) provided Harry stays fit but should there be a problem it would be good to have him available.

May not have been ready a year ago, no
May not or was not?

Your conviction is strong in one and not in the other based on identical facts.

Not the first time you've been wholly inconsistent though...

It's all getting a bit tense in here- time to withdraw for a bit, engage in the physical world and take the kids swimming.
PS- what's the guidelines on mobile devices and water?

I feel like Dembélé going back on loan is the best for everyone involved. I find it hard to belive that Dembélé would have an impact since he is 19 and joining in the middle of the season.

Yeah... let's just run Kane into the ground and be left without a striker at the business end of the season...

As if that is the only alternative... I'm more confident in Son or Chadli as a strikers over a kid coming from the bottom end of the Championship in the middle of the season.

Same transfer as Alli it seems, Moussa getting loaned back to Fulham for the rest of the season. I guess it means Poch is happy with his strikers which i just dont understand, could cost us big time if Kane gets injured.

I guess he's confident that Son/Chadli kan play up there if Kane gets injured.

Get French Football News can reveal that Fulham striker Moussa Dembélé did not undergo a medical with Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

The player was given leave from Fulham’s training session this morning as he was told that he was not required for a training match. He has also been given Sunday and Monday off from training with Fulham.

Negotiations continue between Fulham and Tottenham over a possible transfer for this month, contrary to reports suggesting that the player will only join Tottenham if he is loaned back to Fulham.

Tottenham are still hoping to sign the player permanently and immediately so that he can be backup for Harry Kane for the rest of the season.

However, we can now reveal that the player will indeed undergo a medical at 14:30 this afternoon as negotiations hot up between Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur.

You get spammed for saying Dembele isn't ready to start for us yet

If the deal is for DM2 to be loaned back for the rest of the season, i think that is best for the long run. Coz IMHO he needs at least 6 weeks more to be up to speed to play in Spurs First team (making it mid to late March). So will not see many game time (also the need to grasp MoPo's footballing philosophy) as Njie is also schedule to be back around that period. So let him has a sustained competitive games at Fulham now and have a full Pre-Season at Tottenham next summer.

Why then is Kane being played against lowly Colchester United?
Because he might not be tierd? Just because there is a chance Kane will get injured or burned out doesn't mean he will. Also, avoiding a replay by playing some of our best attacking players would be an overall positive if we want to rest our best players.

Fulham must be pissing themselves. £5m for a player out of contract in the summer and they get to fucking keep him for the rest of the season.

I suspect if we waited until the summer he would have ended up at another club.... I think its good business he can help with Premier League and Europa games... i suspect we will add another more experienced Striker in the summer window.

I don't see why he wouldn't play. He isn't injured and as far as we know he isn't tierd. Him playing today is evidence of nothing.

It's evidence that we don't have an adequate back up and evidence that if fit Kane will play every single minute of every game we may play in all competitions this season.

If he has the stamina for it why not play him? We've already seen Pochettino start Son over Kane as a striker once in the cup against Leicester so it's not like he is afraid of doing it if he feels there is a need for it.
