I was at the game, match of the day didn't do it justice. We spanked them and Trippier was absolutely amazing from start to finish MOM by a mile.

Good article:

The stats you need to know

  • Spurs have had a league-high 72 shots in the first half of games in 2016 so far but they have scored with just four of those.
  • Kieran Trippier bagged his first Premier League goal in his 43rd appearance.
  • Dele Alli assisted Trippier's goal just 176 seconds after entering the field of play.
  • Alli has had a hand in 11 goals in his last 14 Premier League games for Spurs (six goals, five assists).

The other stat I love looking at is the goals against column on the league table. 19 goals conceded. 19, dammit!!! One. Nine. Nineteen. That's 0.76 goals conceded per game. Goal conceded every 118 minutes!!!!
Love it. LOVE IT!!!!!!

I'd rather be in second place at this time, with 13 games to go.

Leicester has hit the front too early.

We do need them to drop some points and we need to keep winning, so we can put them under some pressure.

It's very interesting though.

You wouldnt mind coming 2nd behind a fit Usain Bolt, but if he's crocked, you'd wanna win that race.

Does anyone else think Alli is like an amalgamation of lampard's timing and running from deep, Gerard's atleticism and scholes skill (maybe not quite at that level)..??

Always the case mate. Motd shows best chances from both teams. So if one team has 25 shots and another has 5 they show all 5 of poor team and maybe 7 of other.
Suppose thats inevitable when you want to keep everyone happy and condense 90 min into 3min allowing for 5min of talking shit as opposed to actually watching more of the game.
Sure most would rather see more game and less bollox (metaphorical).

You will never hear more complimentary comments from a losing team or manager than we got yesterday. Fair play to Watford for trying but they left that game in absolute awe of spurs.

Our team, as posh said in his interview, has the required belief now, and boy it makes a difference. It was there for all to see and I truly am starting to believe that 4th position would be almost disappointing now.

Would love manu to lose today and then next week is most certainly a pinnacle 6 pointer for us. Win that after manu losing today and I don't think I'll be thinking of 4th anymore.
