Nobody else wanted that, probably because they ain't as hung as me, so we've decided to wait and see before we make our minds up. But it'll be interesting to see how it pans out on the tatt because I bet there's gonna be some really nice bits of art dreamed up if we win it.
Sorry, forum software means I could only rate your post "Optimistic" once... :playful:

We really need City to lose tomorrow, a win at Anfield for them and I think they will go on a run.
I'm not going to be greedy.
We got the important result as far as I'm concerned and if we win then we are top.
Screw what Arsenal or City do.

I'll happily take being top of the league in March.

After that Leicester result today, i hope it gives our lads the motivation to abso-fucking-lutely destroy West Ham tomorrow and enjoy the spoils that goal difference they've built up will provide.

West Brom have done us a huge favor today, i had this down as an easy 3 points for the Foxes, but putting a dent in them with us pecking at their paws is ideal and it's put a great deal more pressure on us to demonstrate we've got what it takes to be top on merit.

Win , lose or draw tomorrow I just hope and pray that we come away without injuries. They are going to play it like a win at all costs cup final which spells danger in regards to our players getting hurt. The plus side could be that they are vulnerable to our fast counter attacks. ( I am more worried about this game than the NLD )

To be fair to Leicester they were unlucky, hit the bar twice, goalkeeper made a good save and generally created lots. For those that didn't see the game it could look like their performance dropped because it's a home draw to West Brom but in my opinion that's not the case, Leicester will be around the top places till the end, can't rely on them dropping off.
Yea but at the w/end they were very lucky to beat Norwich.

I haven't told my girlfriend this as her ex had a gambling problem, but on Sunday I cleaned out my Bet365 account betting on Swansea to beat us (nothing huge - think I started the day with only about £40 in there).

Started with a little bet before kick-off, then another at half-time and then a 3rd right before Chadli equalised. I'm certain I'm a jinx when it comes to football betting.

So as West Ham are 3/1 to beat us tomorrow I thought I'd get in there early and try to repeat Sunday's trick. If we win every game between now and May then assume I'm skint for the summer!
Good on you, mate. Take one for the team.

This is perfect. The team have now got a real motivation to go out there and win. Not that we needed it but sometimes West Ham really come atus and we struggle to match thier motivation
Equally it's dangerous if the players have one eye on 1st place and don't give West Ham their full attention. The path to greatness is filled with traps and temptations.

This is the weirdest feeling , actually genuinely thinking we've got a good chance of winning the league at the business end of a season, one I didn't honestly know if we would see again with the oil money clubs, Utd money etc and also tbh I have kind of got used to the disappointment a bit after the last couple of decades. To be in this position now and the way we have done it with so many homegrown and young players is truly special and whether we win it or not it's going to be one hell of a ride.

Love this club.

Swings and roundabouts though. They didn't deserve the win against us or the win against Norwich.

Our players would have been following the Leicester game, and no doubt they're absolutely buzzing about the opportunity tomorrow.

I thought having such a young team might prove to be problematic, but I guess there's something to be said for not having some experienced 30-something Buzz Killington trying to dampen the team spirit (albeit, no doubt in a well-meaning way).

Plenty of negative things can be said about having a young side, but a lack of self-confidence and enthusiasm aren't among them.

As you say, I hope we go out there tomorrow and blitz them. If we were in the same position with a much more experienced set of players, I'd be more worried that they'd take the overly cautious approach.

This all over, and i think that's an overlooked part of Poch's management methods - promoting youth because it's good in the long term is often noted, but these kids are riding a wave of adrenalin right now. I imagine equally that if it wasn't going well, we'd be suffering as much as we're achieving right now, so it was obviously a big risk but it shows that you get the right attitudes together and it goes a long way regardless of experience or age.

Plus we've got three title winners in the squad which will help.

In four days time we could be nine points ahead of the scum and three points clear at the top of the league. In March. Unlikely I know but even the possibility of this happening just made me feel funny in my pants...

Skybet enhanced odds? I was on that too. Had it away at the weekend with a couple of late winners so swings and roundabouts I suppose…...
