Mauricio Pochettino was confident progress was being made when he witnessed his Tottenham players getting up from lunch to greet chairman Daniel Levy and shake his hand.

"We are in the beginning of a great period"

Love these words, implies Poch has no intention of leaving anytime soon. If we can get through the summer with United and Chelsea appointing new managers hopefully all the rumours will stop for a season or 2.

I imagine Adebayor was an enthusiastic hand shaker, so I can't understand why they fell out.

If we win tonight and against Arsenal at the weekend then the title is ours to lose.
This is the biggest run of games for us since the dawn of the Premier league, I keep trying not to think about it but it's no longer about top 4 now, it's about taking the whole thing.

I totally understand your sentiment and agree.
I don't wish to be a pedant however but the title is already ours to lose. Win all of our games and, barring Leicester getting a better goal difference and equally winning all of their games, we win the title. :)

No, if we win all our games and Leicester win all theirs, we'll beat them to the title by 1 point.

No we win the league on goal difference.

They're 2 points ahead of us right now and we have today's game in hand. So if we win today we'll be 1 point ahead having played the same number of games. So if both teams go on to win all their games, we'll still be 1 point ahead at the end.

Makes me teary-eyed. This Spurs team is becoming the stuff of dreams...
Love it when this is normal in every other job or sport in the world, yet footballers shake hand and have a conversation with the boss is a revelation. Football for you

Look at the league table again my friend. Then do some maths

In light of this new handshaking phenomenon, Daniel Levy, never one to let a money making opportunity slip, immediately started taking pickpocket lessons and is 27 Rolex watches to the good so far this season.

So what did they do before now - sit around smoking fags and glaring moodily when the chairman walked in?? Surely they've always done this? Though maybe now there is real enthusiasm, thanking him for putting his balls on the line by investing so heavily in a title tilt in January lol

If we win every game we will win the league, whether Leicester can mathematically stop us or not. I don't believe we'll win every game remaining but neither will anyone else. Something like 75, even 73 points will do it and we've got 54. It'll be close, I just hope the scum don't win it.
