Not gonna give up on this title dream afterall after a night of rest waking up to the reality.. Hope the club can feel the same.. Only 9 games away from glory..

We just need to hope Leicester lost one match in the coming 8 games, while we match the results of the rest of the 7 from the 8.. And comes final game down to the wire, they drew with chelscum and we won at St James.. We lift the title on goal difference..

In this aspect, all seems possible.. Most importantly now is to match their results being the minimal to ask for..

Am shocked by the knee jerk reactions from some section of supporters. Some even suggesting we wont finish top4. We lost a narrow game against WestHam & we dropped points in a winnable NLD. Thats it.

Teams like Arsenal & Mancity are in far worse form than us. Likes of United, City, Arsenal, WestHam have tough fixtures ahead + still in multiple competitions.

I see no cause for concern with our state.

Positives from yesterday : We are still 2nd, Kane has started scoring again after a small drought. Dembele is back.

Forget Leicester for time being. We did not take advantage, but we cant keep moaning about it.
We are still doing the basics right. We have conceded 2 in a game, for first time since Newcastle game in PL. We are still scoring goals. Next up Villa away, which is nowadays like a home game. 3 points & we keep going.

Leicester have been incredibly lucky with injuries all season. While its great creidt to them to keep it going, but they are literally playing same XI week in week out - without having any injury worries.

For them to drop points from now, they need to lose likes of Mahrez & Vardy or Kante for 4 games or so.

yeah, agree on the injury front.. but so are we, considering we are playing so many games.. we are both the last 2nd and 3rd in the injury table in Physio Room..

but Leicester playing the same XI consecutively for so many games, they are sure lucky and fit to do so.. even with some minor blips, the players tend to incredibly came back within such a short span of time!

I never thought we'd ever get anywhere near winning the league but as this season has been so crazy, I really think this could be our only chance of ever winning it in the next 10 years. We simply can't let this opportunity slip away! It's now or never.

I woke up in the night with things on my mind and this was one that crept in there at 2am.

I thought when we lost to Newcastle that it was a bad defeat but one we needed to focus the players's minds and get them to turn those draws into wins and to my surprise it happened.

Now what if this frustrating draw to Arsenal is the same?

There's nothing to say that such a result won't push the manager, coaches and players to focus and work harder to ensure victories happen, because if we don't win the next two games we can forget it.

We have seen in the past that leads greater than leicsters have been reeled in and overtaken, but at the moment i cant see us getting it back because we cant yet take advantage of any situations but more importantly they are not slipping up much.
Thats not to say this has not been a good season because it has and no one would have thought we would be in a title race but We have and exciting it has been.

It makes me laugh when people accuse players are bottling it and then give up on our chances of winning the league. We're second favorites now, but Its not the players that are bottling it.

We now have to win every home game at least and will probably need a win at either Liverpool or Chelsea.

1 point simply wasn't enough this week and we haven't put the necessary pressure on Leicester.

It's theirs to lose now and they seem to just be keeping on going. I had started to think we could do it but yesterday suggested we are tiring and we didn't have that killer instinct that title winning teams have.

Mathematically we're far from out of it but it's a lot less likely after this week unfortunately.

Are you really seriously shocked about seeing kneejerk reactions on here?!

Can't really see them dropping more points than us, we have a much tougher run in. We've let ourselves down this week.

I genuinely believe Leicester are going to have a wobble at some point, mainly because I just don't think they're that good that they're certain to win the 'easier' games. What we have to do is win our better fixtures to put us in a position to win it. I still think we'll have another chance.

Have we got a much tougher run in though? It was much tougher before the West Ham game, but we've played two of our hardest games now while they've played two of their easier ones. Our fixtures are quite similar now. The problem is making up those five points.

I agree I cant see us catching Leicester but who knows.
Still see us getting 2nd though.
We lost to Wham but fielded a weakened team and were missing key players in Alli and Dembele.
Yesterday Kane scored a world class goal and Arsenal, with Ozil, Ramsey, Welbeck, Sanchez and later Giroud, even with 10 arent exactly a walk over despite the utter crap the media would have us all believe of late.
Look at the table. We're in 2nd place and 3 pts clear of Arsenal. Start of the season we'd all have thought it was cloud cuckoo to even dream of being in this position at this stage.
We're still a very very good team who just came through 2 tough games with 2 key players either missing or not 100% fit and most importantly we didn't lose to those closest to us.
I fully expect us to get back to winning ways (although I'd like us out of Europa asap) in the league next game.
Long way to go still but we've not collapsed or on the slide.
Talk of slipping out of top 4 given how inconsistent everyone else is is an over reaction as far as I'm concerned.

Only people bottling it, is not the players, but the fans writing ourselves off when being in 2nd and 5 points behind.
Poch has instilled a new mentality to this team, that's made up of stronger stuff than previous squads, us as fans need to start believing and changing our mentalities aswell.

Not saying we are going to win the league, and I don't expect to, but we are in with a shout, and on the heels of a team that's never been in this position before. 9 games left is a lot in football terms, and a team like Leicester, who are relying on a core of 11 players to get them through to the end. Anything can happen when they start seeing that there is 4-5 games to go and still top, and then it sinking in that the finish line is in sight, who knows what it would do to there concentration.

Win the league or finish 2nd to 4th, its been a good season for us, and only going to get better with our young players getting more experience. Better to aim high, and all that, but I am not ready to throw the towel in just yet, until its mathematically confirmed, we cannot win the league.

there will be 2 more long breaks for leicester.. I hope that is something we can wish for in making them lose their sharpness abit..

and if there is any easy game to go by, remember Villa drew with them.. applying the same logic though, we could face a stern test against them next.. but, we played kinda different to leicester so I think we are still winnable against Villa..

leicester run in really not as easy TBH.. Newcastle next, can never estimate which Newcastle will turn up, especially now they are in the relegation scrap.. similarly to Palace, Swansea and Sunderland.. I only want draws form these games and we still have hope..
