Not going to lie, really looking forward to now seeing how the ref will perform
Same here. Works both ways I guess, and Dortmund have a number of tough tacklers.
Fucking hell. We'll finish with like 8 or 9 men thenWell the ref seems like the sort who likes a flowing game and uses cards sparingly

107 yellows and 9 reds in 21 games this season!
I'd goTottenham squad: Lloris, Vorm, Walker, Trippier, Davies, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Carter-Vickers, Winks, Dembele, Mason, Carroll, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Onomah, Lamela, Son, Chadli, Kane, Harrison.
I wouldn't want this team vs league 2 opponents, let alone Dortmund.I'd go
Lloris
Trippier Alderweireld Wimmer Davies
Bentaleb Mason
Lamela Onomah Eriksen
Kane
Vorm, Carter-Vickers, Walker, Dembele, Carroll, Chadli, Son
Im honestly clueless as to the CM pairing. Conventional wisdom would have a Dembele/Mason pairing. But starting Dembele 2 times in the 1 week since returning to training from injury doesnt seem the brightest of ideas. Especially given his injury history. Bentaleb is so far out of form and might be even further out of favor at this point. So Mason Carroll? That's very weak. Same with Mason Winks. A small part of me wonders if Poch might throw CCV to the wolves here and play him at DM or at LCB and have Wimmer as DM.
The ref suites them more as he is turkish and turks have an influential part in germany with around over 4 million turks living and working there.Yep, I think the ref suits neither team. The team it does suit however is whoever cops us in the next round.
Yea but we have our fair share of turkish kebab shops on the high road so he's loyalties will be evenly splitThe ref suites them more as he is turkish and turks have an influential part in germany with around over 4 million turks living and working there.
If Dembs plays I hope he gets thru the game ok as we need him Sunday and the next. The 2 league games coming up are must must wins and these might further improve our position at the top given the teams around us have tough games or do not play due to FA cup fixtures.
I think with results having gone the way they have we need to not be out of the cup either...If Dembs plays I hope he gets thru the game ok as we need him Sunday and the next. Well obviously the articles say rested... but whilst I don't imagine Poch storming around the place telling Dier in no uncertain terms how shit he's been, i could imagine Poch being a little bit more like my mum. I.e. not saying anything other than "I think you need a break" in such a tone that you cannot help but feel rather disappointed in yourself.I would hope that who ever comes in for him on Sunday would be good enough to play against Villa.
Would have swapped Dier and Dembele for these 2 games, but not sure the reason why Dier is out. Is it a kick, or just rested?
