YES. I fucking love Marcelo. The man just does not give even the single, tiniest shit (sorry to bring this up) about tactics, shape or any of that nonsense. Yes, he's theoretically a left back, but if the moment takes him and he decides to go for a wander into the hole behind the striker, he'll bloody well do it. And if he feels like trying a flip-flap past an attacker when he's the last man, he'll do that too. And the beauty of it is that he ALWAYS gets away with it, because he's such a good footballer.

Nah, he's just a poor mans Timothée Atouba.

I don't like Marcelo because of his dive and histrionics that lead to Crouch's red card in the CL.

Talented player, but a massive twat.

But I'll still be supporting Real in the final for our ex-players.
At last some sense, this love in for Marcello makes me sick, the **** got Crouch sent off & ruined the match & our chance of Glory that season in the CL. The mans a wank puffin, fuck him & his shite hairstyle. He's no Benoit either, fuck him

Loved Benoit.

I seem to recall Marcelo being little less use than a soggy tissue in the last world cup.

Hope Atleti win it

Yep. Atletico play some boring football, effective but boring I feel, and Simone is a douche. But Real Madrid are one of the most horrid football clubs in world football. The way they took bale of use was awful, while the rest of the club are just arrogant. I don't like them at all.

Crouch was stupid to dive in. I just can't stay mad at Marcelo, he's so fucking entertaining. Just his face entertains me. He's like a fluffy footballing Brazilian Stan Laural on smack.

I don't get the hate for Simeone either. How you can you not love a man that dresses like Robert Vaughan in The Virginian? The ball chucking thing was evil genius.

i'm also supporting Atletico tonight. as much as it might be boring to soak up pressure and hit on the counter, they are so bloody effective at it that i can't help but admire them, especially when they almost never thwack it long like Leicester do with Vardy.

i'd like Bale to play well and everything go wrong for Ronaldo, but i want Atletico to win.

Tricky one actually. I find it hard to support Real Madrid because they are everything that is wrong with modern day football, but at the same time Simeone's Atletico team are apalling to watch...and basically like a Mourinho team on steroids.

So I'll probably just hope for Modric and Bale to do well.

Yeah I think that's my stance. Plus I still think Simeone is a dick for helping get David beckham sent off in the 98 World Cup.

As much as I would be nice another team winning it that other team shouldn't be Ath Madrid. They owe the Spanish tax man hundreds of millions of euros and yet don't get punished.

Hope Athletico win it and think they can

In the 10 games between the teams since the 2014 CL final ( Madrid Derby also) Athletico have won 5, drawn 4 and only lost 1

David Beckham got David Beckham sent off. Regardless of Simeone's overreaction, what Beckham did was a red-card offence.
