Theres defo something fishy i tried to find odds on bats new club couldnt find any site with that bet, maybe they knew something. Last bet you might find is from jan this year but the bet doesnt exist.
Well it kind of does if MB was his first choice. Let' s see how the rest of the window pans out, fingers crossed we get in a striker or two. In a strange kind of way I am actually pleased that he has gone now and not 31st August.

I'm not going off on Levy for this. 33m and particularly the 100k at least I reckon per week? They can have him. We might have had it done at 30 and 70-80 but just assuming the media stories were true Roman may well have made him a promise that if they couldn't get Higuain or Morata then fortune could be his at the Bridge. Guess we will never know for sure.
From our current position, I'd hope the itk doesn't play out and Levy instead sticks his neck out a bit and goes for Ighalo, Wilson or if West Ham do get someone expensive in Sakho could be available. Prem ready options like these give me far more confidence than the other names mentioned.

Bats was prolly fourth on there list for strikers, I just hope we move at similar speed to seal up our 2nd choice, so we don't miss out yet again and end up scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
My worry is that there are a lot of clubs looking for quality forwards and there isn't a whole lot of them available.

I realise that there is this whole apparently "funny" idea that anyone that doesn't constantly rip Levy must be one of these BSoDL fans and this came about because so many fans were always defending him but seriously, as boring as that was, it's equally as boring to see the same level of constant negativity aimed his way as well.
I'm personally in neither camp. I think he's made some shocking decisions in the past but he's also, IMO, started to make some very good ones (Appointing Poch/Mitchell, the NFL deal etc). But honestly, do we have to keep rolling out these lame, sarcastic comments like "careful, don't critcise the almighty one, the BSoDL will be on you like a pack of wolves" or whatever.
Can we change the record please? DL isn't going anywhere. You don't have to like him but maybe just get over it. It's SO dull seeing the same unoriginal comments each time we don't complete a deal we all thought was gonna happen. This is football, it's absolutely bonkers most of the time.
