Ajax used the The Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam right up until 1996, nearly 70 years after the Amsterdam Olympics
I think that's where we played Ajax in the Cup-Winners' Cup in 1981, rather than Ajax's own stadium, De Meer. There are a few other Olympic Stadiums around - Berlin, Munich, Montreal, Moscow, Athens, etc.

Still prefer them to Chelsea fans, West Ham is a comedy club that we can all laugh at as you say backwards, with Chelsea and the neo-Nazi element it's more sinister.

We laugh at the porn barons and Brady but they are at least not a Russian gangster. Don't normally defend West Ham but I would marginally have preferred all this shit to happen to Chelsea instead.

I want what is happening on this thread to start taking place on the Chelsea one. Maybe they can move to Twickenham or something.

A hammer speaking sense, who knew...

Still amazed there was no protest about the move by West Ham, we protested against Stratford from the get go, I know Stratford is closer to West Ham but it's not West Ham and never will be.

It was obvious way before a ball had been kicked that the stadium was not fit for football in any way shape or form. No stadium with a running track has ever worked for football and the OS is bigger than you average athletics stadium.

No good pubs within quick walking distance, no Pie and Mash or other football type foods, views from the gods while security tell you to sit down and shut up. Far as match day experiences go it looks shocking, if I was a hammers fan I would watch the homes games in the pub where I can stand, drink, swear and even see the players and the game.

Wonder if the porn twins and Brady thought that in order for people to want to come and fill up a massive stadium you need to provide a proper football experience or did they just think go and they will come.

That so many West Ham fans couldn't see the plain obvious that everyone else could since the Olympic Games suggests something odd about their fan base. Every hammers fan I know thought it would make then into Manchester United. How naive.

Anyone else waiting for David Gold to send a tweet thanking all the fans that came dressed as stormtroopers?

Apparently all there attendances this season in the league have been in the 56k?

I don't believe that for a minute are they doing and arsenal and stating tickets sold not number through the gate? or is that correct and everyone leaves after 20 min?

West spam were very insignificant to me but lately ive realised that they are super ****s... i mewn someone should do an M&S advert but on west spam. I like Bilic thiugh but theyre fans are just scum and really should be eradicated.

Chelscum fans are less horrid but its ironic because Chelsea is a nice part of London so i dont understand how they accumulated so many shite fans.

So our game vs them is at 5.30 on a Saturday? If they keep up their terrible form, I can see some trouble.. especially if we spank them like last season!

Who the fuck has put it on that time of the day on tv?

It's almost like they are asking for trouble on purpose!
