I'm probably going to get hammered for this but I really couldn't give a shit about this game.
As a club we're not bothered about it so who cares?
I'd love it if we won it and rather see us go full strength to win it but you won't win anything with your reserves.
Just hope we don't get tonked.
If the club aren't bothered then neither am I.

just hope that we do not get completely turned over, but of course would love the win.

I'd love to see

Vorm
Trippier, ccv, wimmer, Davis
Winks, Carroll
Lamela, onomah, gkn
Jansen

I'm not 100% convinced with the dm partnership though but really don't wanna risk dembele in there.

Would you play that side in a full premiership game? If not which if any of those players would you play in a full premiership game?

I could see any of those mentioned playing in a Premiership game
though not perhaps Winks and Carroll together. Although....
In fact almost all of them have so featured at some time.

Would you play that side in a prem game omitting one of winks or Carroll.

As jimmy said I'd play any of those, and as I said I'd love for both winks and Carroll to get a game- I'm not 100% convinced as a partnership it's suitable for this fixture

But not that side in a prem game against Liverpool?
I know Poch wouldn't, he has already talked of a lack of squad after spending 50 million.

You've moved the goalposts.(See what I did there!)
I wouldn't play that side as such in a Premiership game
but I was replying to the second part of your question
'which if any of those players would you play in a full premiership game?'

Actually that team might do well against some Prem.teams.
Especially if they underestimated us
as much as you seem to be doing.
EFL is the time to find out!
Liverpool won't field their full first team either.

Vorm
Trippier, CCV, Wimmer, Davies
Dier, Winks
Nkoudou, Onomah, Son
Jansen

Think that'd be nice. Although I suspect Poch will reward the youngsters who played well in Gillingham game with a pretty much unchanged team, which would mean Carroll starts

For a club that has won just 3 major trophies in over 25 years it really pisses me off that we can't take this competition serious.

If Wimmer doesn't start this game he's done something to Poch.

Maybe he shat in his teacup or something.

Wimmer has to start.

This may be the reserves to some people but these guys need to step up and play like first team players whenever they get a chance or we won't win any competition. Tonight is a huge game to see how strong we really are.

I hear you, but long gone are the days when we will field our strongest squad for this tournament.

We are challenging for greater honours, so something has to give.

Can't see it working any other way.
