Hull need a lot more than Onomah to save their season.

Hull would toughen him up a bit. Also City of Culture in 2017, so he could take in a bit or art and music...

At the moment, Iimagine Onomah, having been through the junior ranks and cracked open in to the first team fringes, is unlikely to be sent out on loan, given the fragile depth of quality status of the first team back up.

Makes perfect sense.

Wouldn't be the worst move for him, he does need regular games.

A comfortable mid table team would probably be better though.

I'd be surprised and impressed if Onomah could swing a loan to a Prem team. Loan would be a good move imo though as all his minutes could go to GKN.

A loan makes a lot of sense and it will hopefully allow him to cement his best position... hopefully central midfield and not as a wide forward/midfielder

5 months away where he will be given first team chances - a genuine opportunity given Hull are on their knees unlike when Pritchard went to West Brom.

He needs to get on the pitch more and it's not happening now at Spurs. Winks took his window of opportunity, unfortunately Josh hasn't but he's a talent and as I say, 5 months in a different environment may be the making of him.

I have always said he needs to go somewhere on loan and find himself and find his role, the guy has got so much talent it's unreal but he needs to become a man and to do that he needs more playing time.

He needs a team that will take a chance on a young player.

Hull are short of numbers and their board don't want to spend so could be a good option.

Outside of Hull I can only imagine the Championship is a place he can get game time. QPR are struggling though I wonder about the atmosphere in the club. Norwich play decent football and have lost their way.

From what I've seen of him this year, he is has not taken his opportunity to force his way into Poch's starting X1. Based on this and his apparent need to build up confidence and strength, a loan spell to a reasonable football playing championship team would benefit all concerned.

Going to Norwich would be a bad move at the moment, it's poison there. They're mid table and way off the pace when the fans expected an immediate return to the PL. not the ideal place for a young player on loan.

Maybe, good friend of mine is a Norwich fan and wants them to bolster their choices in midfield. Whether Onomah would be a fit there or be used I have no idea.

That's not always a bad thing. As long as he can force his way into a team and play well and get experience, I don't mind if there's bad shit happening to that team. It's good for a young player to experience adversity and to see what it's like when the world isn't a bed of roses.

In theory yes they are short of numbers but I'm not sure it's midfield that they lack players. Iirc mason only gets a game every now and then
