Crazy to be both 5th in wins and also 4th in losses
Not really as these charts will be dominated by teams that are ever present in the Premiership and there 7 teams who have been (although Villa will not be at the end of the season).

As a result we should be around 5th best of this mini league when it comes to positive stats but should also be around 3rd worst when it comes to negative stats.

These stats are from Feb (and posted from our former head of player ID). 2.5 x more mins given to players U24 and played more than 2 x more players U24 than anyone else in the top 4! I know people think we need new signings to improve, but I think these show we can expect improvement from our team, even without them.

This thread is a bit like the shit that's kept behind the counter in a locked suitcase in a sex shop in Soho from the mid 90s. Only for the discerning gentleman

I'm 99% sure that "chance created" by Opta definition (been doing research lately) refers to a shot that comes from a pass (by a teammate) and not a turnover or something. So while it's nice to be shooting a lot and having the ball, I think a stat that would show something like "clear cut chances" (like FM does) is more telling.

WTF does that actually mean?
that we shoot a lot from positions/situations that are unlikely to result in a goal. dz(danger zone) is the area directly in front of the goal to the edge of the 18 yard box and width of the 6 yard box.
Definitely a bit concerning, but to be fair we take A LOT of shots, so while our percentage of shots outside of danger areas might be high, it doesn't necessarily mean our actual number of danger area shots is.
