I would simply say what do people expect from a second XI. They are not usual starters and were playing a well-oiled side from a lower division playing their cup final. To win easily would have been a great performance. To win at all is ok. Yes yes Dier is a starter and Dembele and Alli came on later

I'm a little worried bout Onomah. He get chances, but unlike Winks he never seize them at all and are a passenger in most games. Still young and very early in his career, but wish he showed a little more when he plays :/
I've never seen anything to suggest there is a player there. The only thing I think of when I hear Onomah is that he reminds me of Bambi on ice. Seems like he falls down every time he tries to kick the ball!...

But Winks has always played his favored position, Onomah has always played out of position

you could also apply this logic to supporters who think onomah is crap then?
I don't think Onomah is crap. I think he is out of his element right now. I certainly would not trust him over Winks, so maybe Poch sees his potential and is still trying to unlock it - just not at CM. I don't think Poch has ever played him deep, has he?

He needs a loan, he hasn't got an Identity.

Exactly. This is why FIFA introduced chemistry, people

The scoreline doesn't make pleasant reading because it looks like the all too familiar scorelines from the past.
But to say that doesn't do justice to the magic of the FA cup which has always been a great leveller against opposition who had their cup final today and raised their game by another 50%.
If we had been playing against prem opposition then we probably may have won it with more conviction than we did, but we are through and maybe our name is on it this year although I would prefer the league its time we won something.

Winks and Janssen MOTM for me.
I honestly don't think Son played well, should have had 4 goals at least.

Everyone keeps saying that - but Poch does not seem interested in playing Onomah deeper. Maybe its the supporters who have this wrong...

Maybe but he has played CM/CAM since at least 14, and I haven't seen him move out of either position, until he made his debut for the 1st team. That's probably a grand total of 200+ games in that position. So either all of the coaches in the youth set-up (club and international) including McDermott don't know what they're doing or maybe we just have too many CMs and Poch is trying to fit him in elsewhere or wants him to develop other aspects of his game on the wing.

Vorm 3 - Looked like superman on the cross for their first goal.... very poor display from an experienced player with a nervous back 4 in front of him.

Trippier 7 - Composed, played well but not his normal self with crossing today. Injury looked serious which is a worry

CCV 2 - Terrible is the only word for him, could not handle any of their front 3, he needs to go out on loan somewhere

Wimmer 2 - Similar to CCV but made a good challenge in first half - seriously worried about his form

Davies 5 - Played Ok, some poor corners today, needs to work on them but linked well with GKN in the first half

Winks 6 - Ok, not his best game, got caught a few times on the ball but wasn't our worst performer

Dier 1 - Badly needs a rest, just so bad today, his freekick for their 3rd goal was so lazy. He just kicked it to their player and then couldn't catch him as he crossed for the player to head home. Worst performance from Dier in a long time. I hope he plays better at Sunderland as its clear he will play but worrying performance from him today.

Sissoko 2 - Terrible, Awful - sell him! I said to fellow fans when he went to RB, they will score down that side before the game is out, and so they did. He made some good runs but just went into corners, woeful performance and we have to hope we can get some money back on him in the summer but its a 30m waste at moment

Son 6 - Scored a couple and got the winner which sent the lane into frenzy with fan running on, but he wasted a lot of chances too, but certainly one of the better players

Onomah 2 - Really poor aswell, did himself no favours and needs a loan badly, he does not look like he is going to make it - I have seen him a few times and he just looks Championship standard

GKN 5 - was playing well first half and we could not understand why he was subbed at HT rather than Onomah but seen when got home he picked up an injury, not sure how it happened as didn't see it but hopefully he is Ok, looked Ok today

Janssen 7 - Played well, gave it 100%, won the penalty - could have had a 2nd penalty, he just scored the penalty (we thought keeper had saved at first but linked up well - unlucky with header later on but good 12 with Son for winner, he played well but should have started - poor decision by Poch

Dembele 6 - Done Ok when coming on

Alli 6 - Got the goal which didn't look likely at 3-2, we looked dead at this point, he tried too many flicks which was a little disappointing as he gave away possession but overall played well and got a big big goal

Fans - Wycome Fans 10/10 - well played!
Spurs Fans 5/10 - Great HT song for Mason but overall the fans at the lane were shit today

I don't watch youth football. But I did watch an extended highlights game when Onomah was playing for England Vs Italy away at CM. And he was very very good, Same as CCV watched an extended game he played against Chelsea, and he was again very very good. So when these guys have been playing peers they have been dominant and very impressive. We can say they are playing a league 2 side today, but they have probably never been up against grown men before with however many years of experience. Experience at any level counts for a lot. Not directed at you but I keep reading people already writing off Josh, he's not even started 10 games yet and he's 19.
